Twenty - Two

I didn't feel like going to school today, I didn't have anymore long sleeve shirts to cover up my secrets.

"I could wear a sweater?" I thought to myself looking out the window to see the weather.

"Hm it looks cloudy, I'll just wear my Nirvana sweatshirt. Wait, why the hell am I talking to myself?" I shook my head changing my clothes, grabbing my backpack and walking out the door.

I arrived to school eight minutes until the bell rung, I looked around spotting Lena on one side of the hall and Bella on the other side. I walked over to Lena tapping on her shoulder.

"Hey!" She smiled constantly looking at Bella on the other side of the hall and looking away rolling her eyes.

"You're cold?" Lena asked tilting her head.

"Sorta kinda." I pursed my lips.

"Why aren't you hanging out with Bella?" I asked looking over to Bella who was giving Lena or me the evil eye.

"We're fighting right now." Lena licked her lips making her hands into fists.

"Can I ask why?" I said tugging on my sweatshirt for it to cover my wrists.

"Ugh stupid reasons, I started hanging out with Nate you know, since they broke up. Nate has been hanging out with me so I could help him get Bella back."

I interrupted, "How did they break up?"

"You didn't hear? Brittany is having twins, one baby is Nates and the other," Lena sighed. "The other baby is Emmetts."

I rolled my eyes, "You do realize that Brittany can be making this up right?"

"Yeah, but I don't know it just hooked me into believing."

I shook my head understanding, "Continue."

"Oh yeah, so I started helping Nate and one afternoon he was over at my house and Bella, without warning, decided to come to my house. So I asked Nate to open the door for me, and he did. Then, I heard yelling so I went downstairs to check it out and Bella got the wrong idea."

"Damn." I said glancing at Bella one more time.

"And she started talking to Emmett?" I asked.

"What? No she hasn't." Lena smiled.

"Are you sure?" I pointed to where Bella was at and Lena turned around.

"Fucking bitch!!!" Lena yelled across the hall causing everyone turn to look at us.

"Let's go before you turn into Hulk-Women." I grabbed Lenas arm walking over to our first class.

"Let's skip school today." Lena said frustratingly.

I nodded, I was glad she had that idea since I knew I'd probably die in my Nirvana sweatshirt.

We walked back to my place taking turns kicking a rock, I let Lena rant about the situation she was in all the way stopping for some Chinese food.
