I wanted to dedicate this to the people from Oklahoma. They were hit by a tornado only a couple days ago and a lot of people were killed and injured and my heart goes out to them and thier loved ones. I hope that Oklahoma can recover quickly and that they are able to heal from this devastation and I ask you to pray for them with me. It got me thinking about how much crazy stuff goes on every day. How many people die and get hurt and how a lot of us are totally oblivious to it and just keep living our lives because its not happening to us so it doesnt feel like something to worry about. But the fact is that this is actually happening to someone and that someone could have been you yourself and that is a scary thing to face indeed.

I see it fall
I see the production
I see it all
I see the destruction
We see the screen
the characters play out their plot
they act out the scene
we act all distraught
but inside we think
don't really believe
can't really percieve
can't imagine the lives they lead
yes we care
but do we truly realize
that these people are people
not just an idea to visualize
this is a real event
happening to someone just like you
do you understand the extent
to the words I construe?
They're not just people
acting out a part
that is their life
that's their life coming apart
and the death you see
the disasters on the tv
has made someone an absentee
from the living family tree
the news isn't gossip
to be spread around
not something to toss up
in conversation in town
it's something to pray about
because it's really happening
just like in Oklahoma
it may be our news but it's their reality
