I know you know
what the future holds
the doctors have told you
they've read the charts
they've given you time
as if it were theirs to compart

so calm and composed
though your death is near

Okay I'll admit
that fear is mine
you still sit there calm and composed
while I burn inside
I guess I didn't think
life could be so unfair
it makes me want to kick something
and pull my hair
maybe I should scream
scream instead
out loud this time
not just in my head
I'll let it out
I'll lose control
I'll scream my fear out
to the whole world
I'll show you I'm scared
scared for your life
I cry every day
and pray every night
and I just don't get
how you just accept
you've been sitting there calm and composed
and haven't screamed yet
