"Phil!" My mother, Hazel, called from downstairs.
Me being my sixteen year old self, groaned as I had to pause the video game I was playing in order to listen to her.
"What mum!?" I yelled back down to her.
"I think you'll find it's pardon Phillip, not what." She yelled back.
It always annoyed the hell out of me when she didn't just come upstairs to talk to me.
But I'm sure most teenagers have this problem.
I got up from my game and wandered downstairs to talk to my mum.
As I walked into our kitchen, I was greeted with a lovely smell. Mum was cooking something.
"Yes mum?" I said as sweetly as I could.
Last time I was nasty I got my PlayStation taken off me for a week.
Now, what teenager with no social life wants to get their PlayStation taken off them for an entire week?
Not Phillip Michael Lester, that's for certain.
"We finally have new neighbours!" Mum squealed excitedly.
I scoffed.
"What, someone finally decided to buy that dump of a house that hasn't been lived in for eight years?" I laughed, not quite believing we were going to have neighbours in the middle of nowhere. I was a little bit excited to have someone finally live close to us as we lived only next to one house, which I came to the conclusion when I was younger that it was haunted.
"Yes Phillip, that house," Mum groaned. "What other house do we have near us anyway?"
Fair point, mother.
"Anyway, you'll be pleased to know that they will be joining us for dinner this evening," She smiled.
I guess having neighbours wouldn't be too bad.
"Oh, and they have a son who's your age, considering there's no school remotely close to here and your poor tutor has to hike all the way out here, their son will be tutored along with you."
My heart jumped at this, when I say I had no friends, I mean I had no friends.
I was an only child in the middle of nowhere, with a stay at home mother and a father who was away for work constantly, I found it very difficult befriending people.
I had no people skills.
"Wonderful." I said through gritted teeth.
"Go and make yourself look nice! They'll be here in twenty minutes, you've got to make a good first impression with this boy because you'll be spending a lot of time together."
No pressure.
I hurried upstairs into my ensuite to have a speedy shower.
I stripped down naked, before hopping into the shower and washing my ebony hair with strawberry smelling shampoo.
What if this boy doesn't like me? What if he thinks he's really cool and funny and I'm just an inferior person to him? What if he just treats me like crap?
"Phillip!" Mum banged on my ensuite door, "You're still in the shower and they're going to be here in five minutes!"
Shit.
I turned off the shower and hopped out, drying myself quickly, then wrapping my torso with the towel I used. I quickly blow dried my hair before stepping outside.
I turned around after shutting my ensuite door to see a tall, brown haired brown eyed boy looking at me intently, my towel still wrapped loosely around my torso.
He raised an eyebrow at me, smirking slightly.
"I'm Dan," He smiled sexily, "And you must be Philly."

I'm so happy on how this first chapter turned out oh.
Welcome children to my new phanfiction.
I will be continuing and finishing Stockholm Syndrome, I will only be writing two stories at a time but I'm super excited to start this one.
I'll be making a trailer for this within the next few days.
