I woke up as a hand touched me and saw nico, I started to cry from relief, pain and happiness. So I looked away from him but I could have sworn it hurt him, he apologized to me but I couldn't look at him at all. Slowly I turned and looked at him, " why did you leave?" I asked weakly making me flinch from the cracks in my voice. He didn't say anything for awhile " because I thought you were with that boy....I thought I had missed my chance but I screwed up." He told me, I saw my father glaring at nico with annoyance and hades smirking.
" I love you nico di angelo, it hurt me when you left I thought something bad happened to you....I thought y-you were dead." I whispered hoping he won't hear me but I was wrong, he hugged me gently and kissed my forehead making me glow brighter than my father ( me: is that possible?) nearly blinding everyone. The light faded away and I felt better but tired so I pulled nico next to me in bed and held onto to him falling asleep instantly.
