It was just me and my pack. All alone. I had just been officially crowned Luna to Blood Moon Hunters. Not even a full day after the ceremony, we were attack by rogues. We lost our Alpha that day. I won't say he was my "mate" but I loved and treated like he was. " Luna Bethany, I am sorry for your lose. Alpha Toby was a great man", whispered a fellow Alpha. Most of the Alphas that Toby knew were at his funeral. I imagined this day happening but I would be a lot older, and would've cried more. There was a split feeling. One side I believed he was my world, on the other side I felt there was someone else. I only had this feeling once before. It was at my wedding. I felt somewhere in the crowd was my mate. Then, Toby stopped me and said " I do". I was torn between Toby and my maybe mate. I choose Toby. So, after a few days of marriage and a few hours of being Luna, he was gone.

It's been a week. A week without my love, a week without an Alpha. The packs knows that he wasn't my real mate but, they still accept me as their Luna. The council has made me start searching for my mate. I never like the council, well except for John. John was my cousin so I only listen to he during council meetings. Now I am packing up to leave and go through the "we will find your mate" process I went through a year ago. I'm only 19 and I haven't found my mate. I hopped downstairs were Beta Adam was waiting for me. Adam and I became the best of friends when Toby first brought me here. " Hey besties, are you ready to find him?" He question. I sighed " I not sure but, I'm glad your watching the pack while I'm gone." "No problem, it will give me the opportunity to show Clara my skills." He replied showing his not-so-muslucar muslces. I waved goodbye to my pack and headed for the car. Two warriors came along to "protect me" because I'm Luna. We got in my
black Mustang, and headed a nearby pack.
