Chapter Six

Brendon

I was typing an email to a nearby pack on my laptop. Suddenly, a pair of pale arms wrapped around me. I turned around to see it was my mate. I kissed her cheek and returned back to my work. A knock came from the door. Bethany had gone up, but I motioned for her to sit down. I got up and walked out the room to the door. A familiar scent crossed my nose. No it couldn't be...her. I rushed to open the door. " Hey bestie! Long time no see." Jess welcomed. She tried to walk in but I blocked her. I'm not letting her inside here. After I banished her, I never wished for her to return. "Why? Don't you love. Come on, we've been best friends since birth. Why wouldn't you want me here? I mean, you haven't found your mate." I can't believe her. I closed the door with frustration. Stomping to my room there was a voice. I think someone was calling me. Ignoring the sound, I made my way up to my room and slammed the door. Lying down on the bed, I retraced facts to find out how could this happen." How could she be back? Our father banished her. HOW DID SHE GET PAST THE GUARDS!", David examined. My wolf David was also so precise on things, just like me in real life.

A knock at door drew me out of my thoughts. " Brendon. It's me Bethany, please let me in. Please." there was sadness in her voice. It hurts me for her to pleaded like that. I whimpered. She opened the door and sat at the edge of the bed. " Why didn't you tell me about Jess?" she questioned me. " I don't want her in my life anymore. I wanted to be with you but she won't let me. She used to follow me like a puppy when we were younger. No she's like...needy." I admitted. Suddenly, I sad appeared on Bethany's face. It made me hurt more. Once again, a knock landed on my door. Who could it be now? Bethany got up and opened the door. It was my sister. " Um.. Brendon.. she's at the door again." she whispered. Again. I should have known. Thump. We all ran out the room when I saw Jess fully shifted. I jumped, in mid-shift, down the stairs. I growled at Jess. She shifted back in a human. " Please Brendon. It's me Jess. Remember best buds." she hesitated. Fury shot through my body." Don't best bud me! You had a mate and you killed him! He loved you! I don't!" I barked. " You don't have your mate, and now you are mine." she whispered. " That's where you're wrong. I did find my mate. Her name is Bethany." As I spoke Bethany emerged from the shadows leaving Jess in shock.

Hey so glad I finally have a new POV. ( jumps up and down ) I know this is kind of a repeat of last chapter, but I know that you guys and I have been waiting for Brendon's thoughts. So, what will happen next with Jess. Will she go psycho or will the Moon Goddess give her a second chance mate???? The questions will be answer in the the next chapter.
