All credit goes to Stephenie Meyer, yaddayaddayadda. You guys know the drill. This is a fan fiction, as most of my stories will be until I'm confident enough :)

Prologue:

They didn't tell you that, during the Eclipse fight, one vampire got away.

They didn’t tell you that vampire caught the scent of a young woman reeking of the newborns’ attackers.

And most of all, they forgot to tell you of me.

The girl the vampire found.

Chapter 1:

The bell rang, signalling the end of the school day.

I sighed with relief as I packed my History books into my bright yellow side bag. Once done, I waited for the lingering classmates to leave the classroom before standing with a wide grin and skidding down the aisle.

"Have a nice weekend, Sparrow," my History teacher, Miss Adamly, called as I made my way out.

She was used to me skidding out of class like this, as was every other teacher. I'm a lovable student that way, though I have my days where each one of them wish I wasn't their favourite.

"Bye, Miss." I curtsied at the doorway, spreading out my dark green mid-thigh dress over my sky tights and brown ballet flats. What can I say? I am very multicoloured. I love colour.

Then I left the teacher in her dreary classroom, skipping down the empty hall.

Once outside, I slowed to a steady walk but still skipped slightly. Hardly anyone was left here, except for the bus catchers and a few chatting students arranging sleepovers.

It was a normal day here at La Push High... All until I heard my name being called from behind me.

I turned around, dress swirling at the movement.

My breath caught in my throat.

No one ever completely viewed Seth Clearwater as beautiful, but I sure did, even as he ran out the doors with his black hair sleek as he had run his hands through it a few times, his dark brown eyes clouded with thought or maybe even worry, his clothes clinging to his fit slim body... Had he been working out?

Woops. Getting side-tracked again.

"Seth!" I chirped, skipping toward him.

When I stood right in front of him, I lunged at him playfully, attaching my arms around one of his and my legs around his. Leeched to him like this made me realize just how tall he'd gotten these past few months. Like this I was half the size of him, length wise and breadth wise. Standing up I think I'd be at his shoulder, at the least. Wow.

Seth chuckled and wrapped his other arm around my waist. "Happy to see me, little Sparrow?"

"Always. Seeing you lights up any day," I beamed up at him. "But I haven't seen you in ages! Where have you been hiding?"

Something flashed in his eyes, but he held me closer. "Why, I've been hiding from you."

I fake gasped and let go to hit him. Though it may have hurt my hand more than himself, I didn't care. The point was across. "That's mean."

"Aww," he cooed. "You love me, though."

Rolling my eyes, I looped my arms with his and slowly tugged him toward the path towards my house.

"C'mon, Seth! We're off to see the Wizard-in-my-house! The..." I trailed off, looking up at him hopefully.

His mouth twitched. "Wonderful Wizard of your wonderful house."
