I Like My Best Friend's Brother (Before You Exit Fanfic)

CHAPTER 1: IT WAS A DARE!

Stacey's P.O.V

"Stacey... wakey wakey!" i hear an American accent...i don't know who was waking me up, i can barely open my eyes because of the... "ARRGHH!! The light! the light!" i screamed early in the morning... suddenly, someone put down the blinds.... ugggh. it's freezing cold... i slowly opened my eyes and see a boy standing beside my bed waiting for me to wake up and has set up a breakfast in bed... "Good morning, Stace!" Toby yelled. "awww how sweet of you toby! good morning!"

i grew without my parents... i have no parents... they only give me money on my bank... i've always been wondering where they were or why they left me... i'm living my life... All by myself.

"you better get ready stacey... we're going somewhere" i quickly looked at him. "WHERE?!" he smiles. "somewhere and you're gonna love it" "okay" i answered. i quickly finished the food Toby prepared for me... I ran into the shower and wore my skinny jeans, white Nike high tops, white shirt, black leather jacket and of course a pair of gloves, cuz it's really fricking cold outside... and yes, it's winter...

as i went downstairs, i saw toby looking at me... looks like he can't stop taking his eyes off me... he has this really cute smile on his face.... "ready?" toby asked. "PRETTY YES!" i answered back. as we drive to his house, there's snow everywhere... it's really cold... then we stopped in front of his house... the house's roof was covered with snow... oh, yeah, it's Christmas today! and i don't have my parents... "why are we here toby?" "you might want some company for christmas so i brought you here with my family, and i've got some surprise" he grabbed a handkerchief and he has blindfolded me... as he opened the door for me... we walked as he guided me to his house... i'm getting nervous of what might be the surprise...

he started opening the door... he starts to remove the blindfold... and "SURPRISE!" toby screamed. and then there are two tall boys standing in front of me... OH MY GOSH! it's Connor and Riley! "Merry Christmas, Stacey!" toby, connor and riley screamed at the same time... "Merry Christmas to all of you too!" i replied back. and then there comes the awkward silence. "so, guys! let's proceed to the dining area! LET'S EAT!" connor shouted breaking the awkward silence... then there's Mrs. McDonough preparing the food "hello stacey! merry christmas! let's eat!" their mom greeted me. "hi Mrs Mcdonough! merry christmas to you too! thank you!" i replied. "call me 'mom' instead sweetie" that was kind of awkward calling your bestfreind's mom, 'mom' i smiled back to mrs mcdonough. i stood beside the dining table together with toby, connor, riley, Mrs McDonough, and Mr McDonough then we prayed...

the prayer ended... "LET'S EAT!" all of them shouted. i sat there quietly and get some food. i was so shy, "don't be shy, stace" someone whispered, it was toby.. i just smiled back... "sweetie, toby has been talking a lot about you..." mrs mcdonough said to me... "ohhh, hehe" i smiled and laughed softly... i turned to look at toby... and saw his cheeks flushed...

Toby's P.O.V

"ohhh, MOM!" i was embarrassed at that moment and turned red... i caught Stacey looking and smiling at me.... "do you like stacey?" connor whispered.... i looked at stacey's dark brown wavy hair... her emerald green eyes... "uhhm.. uhh.. we're just friends, and i like her as a best friend" i replied back to connor. "so where's your parents stacey?" my dad asked to stacey. i turned to look at stacey... Her eyes were watery and i know she's close to tears... "dad, her parents aren't here... she's living by herself..." i answered. "oh, sorry to hear that stacey" dad replied. "it's okay mr mcdonough" stacey answered with a sad tone. "who wants dessert?!" mom shouted. then she placed it on the table... i got one for me, and for stacey... "stace" as i pass the dessert to her... "thank you" she smiled at me.

Connor and Riley went to stacey's side... which makes stacey between them. "so uhhm, are you and toby dating?" connor asked... "no, haha. we're bestfriends" stacey replied with a sweet smile on her face...

i've always been thinking of asking stacey out for a 'date' but i don't know if she would accept it... cuz i love her... i want to be more than friends with her... suddenly someone tapped me on my shoulder... "let's play! in your room! together with riley and connor!" she said while pointing riley and connor. "okay! that's a great idea" i answered

Stacey's P.O.V

we went to toby's room to play truth or dare... we sat in circle... "riley, truth or dare?" connor asked. "truth" "when's the last time you changed your underwear?!" connor asked while laughing and everyone's laughing. "just now. hahaha" riley replied. "toby, truth or dare?" riley asked to toby. "uhhm.. truth?" "do you have feelings for stacey?" toby turned red... i feel like i'm blushing too. "uhhhm... that's unfair!" toby shouted. "why is it unfair toby?! it's a really good question!" riley shouted. "yeah, right" connor agreed. "fine. yes. i do have feelings for stacey" toby replied then turned bright red... "uhhhm. stacey? truth or dare?" toby questioned. "dare." i answered dare so there's something different.... "i dare you to take a picture of yourself while kissing connor on the cheek then post it on twitter." toby said with an evil grin. i was in complete shock. i turned to look at connor i saw him blushing and looking at the ground... "Toby! go get my phone!" riley commanded toby. Poor toby...

riley was holding his iphone. and put it on camera... i can't believe i'm actually sitting next to connor trying to kiss his cheek. it was a dare. so here it goes. i leaned to kiss connor's bright red cheek. almost there. as my lips were about touch his cheek, he turned to me and touched his lips to mine! i froze. my eyes wide open... i'm in complete shock... then there goes the sound of the camera... i quickly pulled back... to stop the kiss. it was really awkward... kissing connor mcdonough. MY BEST FRIEND'S BROTHER...
