CHAPTER 8: Thank God!

Connor's P.O.V

I woke up as i felt someone tapping me on my shoulder... "Mr mcdonough?" the voice says... i slowly opened my eyes and saw a man in white suit standing beside me... "Mr McDonough, you're fully recovered from the accident. i will just take the dextrose off of you, okay?" the doctor said. "yes, doctor." i placed my hand infront of him... and he slowly removed the needle from me... i didn't even care even though it's painful, my attention was to stacey. i'm still here beside her... i really missed her angelic voice... her laugh... our hugs... our kisses... her soft skin... everything about her... i just miss her... toby and riley went inside stacey's room with their dextrose off already... "bro, you seriously needed to take a break. your eye bags are getting bigger and bigger!" toby said with his concerned voice... "why don't you get some sleep?" riley added. "i'm done sleeping." I replied.. "you need MORE sleep" toby and riley said together... "okay, fine... but promise me. someon will be in-charge with looking after stacey?" I answered with an 'are-we-deal?' tone. "fine." toby and riley answered... i lay down beside stacey... and before i knew it, i fell in a deep sleep...

Toby's P.O.V

my one and only best friend is so helpless... i hope she'll be okay... riley is also sitting beside stacey's bed while on his phone... i hear the respirator... the sound of her heartbeat is getting faster and faster... "RILEY! CONNOR! what is happening?!" i asked my two brothers while panicking... connor got up quickly and went with riley to call the the doctor... i saw the two of them with the doctor coming towards stacey and the nurse not to far from them... "Doctor! do something!" connor yelled.... the doctor starts to do something on stacey while the nurses kicked us out cuz we aren't allowed to stay inside... 

i saw connor sitting on a bench with his face buried inside his two hands... riley looking at connor... while i stand infront of stacey's room, walking back and forth... the door went open for hours later... "stacey's stable now..." the doctor said... we let out a sigh of relief... the doctor let us inside... connor gently held stacey's hand... "you'll be alright stacey, i promise." connor whispered... connor starts to sing 'three words' softly while holding stacey's hand and his other hand touching stacey's hair... 

Connor's P.O.V

while i'm finished singing... i felt stacey's hand move... "guys! stacey's hand is moving!" i shouted... "cmon stacey! hold my hand tightly if you can hear me!" i shouted... her her grip was getting tighter... i saw her eyes begin to open slightly... she began to look at me and tears poured down her face.... "DOCTOR! stacey's awake!" riley and toby called for the doctor... i cried for joy... i hugged stacey... she began speaking... "where am i? what happen?" stacey asked confused... "we're inside a hospital...we got into a car crash stacey... you were 50-50... i'm just so happy that you're alive, babe!" i hugged her gently... she hugged me back... the doctor came in... "you are one lucky, young lass... many cases of 50-50 here in florida didn't make it... you are just so lucky to make it." the doctor said while smiling... stacey's just smiling without saying anything... "you can go home 1 week after Ms Miller..." the doctor added... "thank you doctor..." stacey says weakly... "i hate the smell of hospitals..." stacey spoke out to me when the doctor left already... "haha! same here!" i replied... we laughed... we heard the door cracked open and saw 2 young couples runnning towards stacey...joyrelle with riley, lyle with toby, they all had their hands locked... "Oi! slow down young lovers! my princess is trying to rest so... just, be careful with her." i said  while doing a 'calm-yo-faces' tone... "yes, master..." they all replied while laughing... we all laughed... "come here lyle..." stacey calling lyle, while catching everyone's attention... "can we talk privately?" stacey quipped.... we all left the room...

Stacey's P.O.V

i called lyle, while she came closer to me, and everybody was looking at us... "can we talk privately?" i asked them politely... they all left the room... "so, lyle? how's it?" i asked lyle... "the what?" she asked me confused... "i know, you know what i mean!" i said while laughing... "did toby?" i asked her... "uhm, hehe, yeah. we-uhhm, *cough* kissed *cough* *cough*" lyle said... we laughed together... i saw her blushing, her face was completely red like a tomato... "I KNEW IT! HAHA!" i added... they're such a cute couple... we giggled there for minutes... we heard the door cracked open... "so? yeah guys want to eat? we bought pizza for us!" connor shouted with the other at his back... they looked so cute. haha. they went inside my room and there i sat at my bed... eating the pizza they bought. we talked... and talked... until we went on our seperate ways, Joyrelle laying down on riley's lap... Toby and Lyle cuddling on the extra comforter bed.... and me and connor talking about good stuffs...
