Chapter 14

As I walk down the street, I come across an alleyway. There seems to be a purple convertible pulled in and The Joker's sitting in the drivers seat. A rather ugly fat man in a top hat and a suit is bent over in the window speaking to him. There are three men wearing all black, each carrying a large crate and loading it into the back seat of the Jokers car.

Joker hands money to the fat man and begins to drive off. I hide behind a wall of a building praying he doesn't see me. Once Joker is gone I begin to walk down the street again, but the fat man sees me he shouts, "Harley!? I thought you were dead!" He walks over to me. I stare at him for a second and then speak, "oh no, I'm not Harley Quinn, I'm rather new to this actually"

He stops in front of me and holds his hand out to shake, "well hello then, they call me Penguin. I sell the 'toys' that villains tend to use, you know. To 'take over the world' " I chuckle lightly. This could be fun, "I'm Legency. I would actually be interested in buying a few things if thats okay with you?"

He laughs, "well you might just be the most polite crazy super villain girl I've ever met! Of course you can, come on inside. I think I might just have the perfect thing for you miss. Legency"

He then leads my into a room with guns, booms, knives, you name it! It was at that moment I realized I didn't have money. I look around the room. He has men holding guns at every exit.

Penguin picks up a studded holster with two beautiful white and black pistols on each side. He looked at me with a smile on his chubby face, "you like? It only costs 5000 and for you my dear, ill throw in this belt" he picks up a black and white checkered belt with black and white painted grenades in each of their special loops on the left side. And three throwing knives in the front on the right side.

Oh how I wanted them. I smile politely, "I'm sorry but I left my pocket book at my home and I-" I'm interrupted by a sadly familiar voice. The man walks up behind me and puts his hands on my shoulders, "I'll be purchasing that for the lady today, I'm sure she'll be needing it for tomorrow"

Penguin looked up at the man, "ahh Joker my most valued costumer! you're back! And with miss Legency, I presume,"

I scoff, "you presume wrong" I pull away from Jokers grip on my shoulders and stand beside penguin. J raise an eyebrow under his makeup, "Legency? Good, I much rather prefer your real name then a stupid villain name like the others. I think it's much more beautiful"

I roll my eyes, "I don't care what you prefer-" Joker glares at me, "are you gonna speak to the man who's about to buy you a gift like that? No wonder you're single!" He laughs and the penguin follows. I start to walk outside, "I don't want anything from you!"

J throws the money at penguin and snatches the holster and belt out of his hands and walks after me, "Legency get back here! I wanna see how it looks! You know tomorrow's a big day!"
