"Solange put that up." I said while pushing her camera away from my face. Although I was in a pretty good mood, it wasn't good enough for me to be taking pictures. She stuffed the camera in her bag and sat next to me. I looked over at her neck, it appeared to have a small bruise on it. "Solange, why didn't you tell me you had a hickey!"
"Daniel gave it to me okay. I didn't ask for it." She hurried and untied her hair to try to cover it up.
"I'm not gonna tell mom. Come here." I grabbed her hand and led her to the kitchen. I grabbed a spoon and put it in the freezer. "Leave this in the freezer for about ten minutes. Take it out and put it on your neck."
"And you're showing me this because?"
"It'll make the hickey go away faster."
"Oh, thanks. If I knew this would help I would be gettin hickies everyday." I laughed and went upstairs to check on my phone. I had two missed calls, one from Kelly and one from Lyndell. I decided to call Kelly back first.
"Hello? Bey you there?"
"Yeah, I called you so of course."
"I need you to come to the studio for a minute, I have a great idea for our new single."
"Okay that's fine. Should I call Latavia and Latoya?"
"I already called them, but you know how they are."
"No shows..."
"Exactly. I'll see you then."
"Alright Kells." I hung up and grabbed my keys. It's hard to believe that with all these rehearsals and shows I still had time to get my license. When I arrived at the studio Wyclef was there to greet me with open arms. I felt a little weird because he smelled like Herban Essence and Weed, but he seemed like a cool dude. Kelly was sitting next Latoya, and I was surprised she even showed up. Latavia was sitting on the other side of the room looking as sour as ever for some reason. It was silent for while, until I decided to break the ice. "Soooo How about this new idea for our single?"
"Oh yeah, I brought Wyclef here to see if he wanted to be apart of the remix to No, No, No." Kelly Said.
"Oh, sure. The beat is hot, it's a new sound for you guys." Wyclef said.
"Don't you guys think it's enough we already have four of us on the song, we dont need anyone extra." Latavia said with an attitude. She looked over at Latoya who seemed to agree with her. That made my blood boil.
"Well, last time I checked you didn't write the damn song, so chill-" I exclaimed.
"Ladies, Ladies the song will be great. I just you guys just need sometime to meditate on it."
"She can go meditate with another group if she doesn't like it." Kelly said.
"Excuse me?! Maybe I will!" Latavia grabbed her purse and headed out if the door, but her sidekick stopped her.
"Tavia, chill. You've been Pmsing all day and we dont need this right now. Don't leave."
"I guess I'll stay. I'm sorry you guys."
"It's okay, I apologize also."
"Me too. But in the meantime I wrote this new song, well the beginning of it."
"Okay let's here it Ms.Beyoncé Knowles."
"At first we started off real cool. Taking me places I aint never been, but now you're getting comfortable aint doing those things you do no more, you're slowly making me pay for things your money should be handling. And now you ask to use my car. Driving all day and dont feel up the tank and you have the audacity to even come and step to me. Ask to hold some money from me until you get your check next week. You like it?"
"Hell yeah! Now that's a hit Bey!" Latoya exclaimed.
"Now we gotta finish writing it." Kelly said. My phone started to ring. It was another call from Lyndell. He was probably frustrated because I haven't answered his calls all day. I called him back and to my surprise he wasn't angry at all.
"Hey Bey,I need you to come to the rooftop of the loft."
"I'm in the middle of something baby."
"Just come please."
"Okay, I'll come. Bye. You guys I have to go."
"It's fine go ahead Bey." I wondered why he wanted to go to the loft out of all places. When I got there, I saw something that almost made me choke...
What do you guys think Lyndell's surprise is?
