CHAPTER TWO

Sorry I've been gone for so longggg ! I forgot my password to this account and my email . Buuuut , I'm back so let's get on w/ this story lol

"Lyndell what is this?" , I almost choked at the sight of him wearing that expensive suit we saw in the Galleria. He had a beautiful candlelight dinner prepared and the view was amazing.

"I just wanted to congratulate you on the record deal baby girl. You deserve it , now sit." He pulled my chair out for me like a gentlemen and sat down.

"Wow, Lyndell this is really beautiful but, don't you think I could of went home to change? I feel a little under dressed."

"I am so glad you said that." He stood up from the table and started to take the suit off.

"Wait, why are you getting undressed? Lyndell sit down!", I laughed at the sight of him in tube socks, a t shirt and boxers.

"I got some gym shorts in the car if you wa-", He started to walk towards the stairs but I stopped him.

"Nooo! You look fine , sit down and let's celebrate." He smiled and sat down. He reached under the table and picked up a basket full of what I'm guessing was our food. He had mashed potatoes, fried chicken, corn, green beans and sparkling grape juice. I had tasted wine before, but it was disgusting. Besides , sparkling grape juice taste just like a grape sprite.

After we ate, he pulled out another item. It was a small blue box he had cupped in his hands. He got up from his chair and walked towards me forgetting where he put the basket. He ended up falling and dropping the box. When the box fell, a diamond ring went rolling on the ground. It's sparkle caught my eye and I picked it up and put it on my finger.

"Shit, where is that ring?", Lyndell said with the box in his hands.

"Right here.", I raised my hand to show him that I had it on my finger.
"Is this a en-"

"No,no,no! It's a promise ring. I saved up my money so that I can buy that for you. Bey I really want to spend the rest of my life with you. I'm not asking you to marry me, but I'm asking for a commitment. As long as we're together , I want you to be mine and only mine."

"Only if you take the same commitment." He raised his hand to show me a ring he had for himself.

"His and hers baby!", I laughed as he grabbed me by my waist and kissed me passionately.

"I love you", I whispered onto his lips. He kissed me one last time and whispered I love you into my ear.

"Now go put on those gym shorts! Your boxers are a bit too small baby." I laughed watching his skinny legs run to the stairs.
