Hi there, Wattpad!

So, I uploaded chapter 1 of this story a whole month ago which I'm really sorry about :(

BUT, I'm on summer holidays now so if I notice people acutally like this, I will put it on my  to-do list and it will be uploaded every week :D

CHAPTER 2:

"Pack?" I frowned.

Caleb stared at me, his beautiful eyes glued onto me.

"Pack...as in cult?" My hands fell from my hips because even I knew he wouldn't join a cult. But then again, he is claiming to be part of a pack.

"Savannah, let me explain."  Caleb took a step towards me to try take hold of my hands.

I shrugged him off me; "No, Caleb. I know you're a prankster but if this is your idea of a pathetic joke, it's NOT funny."

"It's not a joke, Savannah. Please, just let me-"

"Because, I've never even liked Twilight. You know Harry Potter is so much better. So come on! If you're going to tell me you're a werewolf or something," I scoffed, "then don't. I would rather you be a wizard. OK?"

Caleb laughed but this time instead of feeling like I'm walking on air, fury built up inside me.

"Savannah, you can always make these things easier. But honestly, let me tell you." Caleb grasped my hands before I could pull away.

"Are you...?" I frowned.

He remained silent but his eyes revealed everything.

I squirmed out of Caleb's grip; "Get off me, you JERK! Stay away from me! Stay away!"

I spun on my heel and began running as fast as I could. I knew Caleb would be able to catch up to me in no time but I never heard his familiar step behind me. Not once.

I ran up to Caleb's car but saw that the car of those teenagers was nowhere to be seen. I paused ot let myself breathe but did not stop running.

I ran and I ran all the way home. Because, somehow I actually believed Caleb.

* * *

I woke up exactly one week later with a headache which had stayed with me all that week. Caleb had not been in school once but not to worry-he would probably still be at the top of the year when he came back.  But still, it was so unusual for Caleb to run away. Just as I had done.

For all the years I had known Caleb, the day after we had a fight, he would apologise to me before school even started-and I would do the same. But this time, he chose to call me every five minutes.

So, what was so important that he needed to stay at home?

School stretched on for the whole day. I had no idea what happened in any of my classes but all I knew was that I needed to see Caleb.

I waved to my friends as school finished then began my walk home. My phone buzzed against my jeans pocket but I avoided looking at it for as long as possible.

I sighed after 10 minutes and pulled it out. Caleb, of course. I had turned my phone off all week to stop myself from potentially answering his call but after the long summer away and the whole week of not talking, I really missed him.

"Hello?" I said as coldly as possible.

"Savannah?" Caleb sounded genuinely shocked I had answered his call.

"Who else?" I sighed sarcastically.

"Well, I don't know what you get up to during the week." Caleb's efforts to lighten the mood were wasted on me.
