Chapter 2

*One month later*

Friday, November 19th

10:28 am

Jaden's POV

I have to see her again. Seeing her last month made me realize that I still love her, with everything in me. For years I tried to convince myself that we were just young and dumb and we never really loved each other. But if I never loved her why did it hurt so much when she left? Why can I only imagine living the rest of my life with her? Why does my heart ache at the thought of her?

My thoughts were interrupted by a loud honk from a car behind me. I looked up and saw the light was green and sped off.

Anyway, I've followed the top 5 fan pages for X. Apparently she's going to Justin's album release party tonight. I of course was invited and I will be there waiting for her to arrive.

Sarah's gone to London for a year so she'll be out of my way. We've agreed that I'll visit her for a weekend once every month.

I pulled into the parking lot of my building and sighed as I got out of my newest car; an all black Rolls Royce Wraith with a pure white interior.

"Good Morning Mr. Smith!" My over hyper assistant said cheerfully as she ran up to me and handed me my coffee

"Amber." I acknowledge her, my voice deep and raspy since I hadn't spoken since I woke up this morning

Her face turned bright pink and she cleared her throat before looking down at her clipboard. I shrugged and stepped into the elevator pressing number 14 and stared straight ahead, watching the elevator doors close.

I looked at my reflection in the gold doors of the elevator. Who am I without her?

Skylar's POV

5:37 pm

"I don't care. I'm not going anymore." I mumble not really caring enough to argue with her, there is nothing she can say to make me go.

"Come on! It's a Justin Bieber party! How could you not go?" Malarie exclaimed

"It's the last day of my break, and that basically counts as work because I'll have to talk to celebrities that will want to talk business." I said in my usual monotonous tone

"Please!"

"Oh no need to beg Mal, she's going, whether she wants to or not." Nicole said as she stepped into my office with her heels in her hands.

Good girl.

"Bieber's management has now offered to pay you 20,000 if you make an appearance at that party." Nicole grinned

"Why?" I groaned

"After I notified them that you would not be coming they basically begged for you to rethink your decision of not attending the event. After a bit of back and forth they offered the 20,000 and I gladly accepted." She said

I rolled my eyes " Tell them I will be attending the party and to keep there money. I'm doing it to support an acquaintance of mine."

Nicole nodded her head as she tapped around on her IPhone.

" Okay so when does it start?" I ask as I span around in my chair and stare out my large windows that spread across to whole back wall of my office
