Ouch.
This had to be the last time he fell on his face. His nose could only take so much. Pushing himself off the ground he patted away the dust that found its way into his blue fur.
"Sorry Sonic, I thought you'd land on your feet as usual..."
Green eyes looked up from a peach belly to blue orbs. A smile grew on the hedgehog's lips. "Well, you know me buddy, it's always the unexpected."
The yellow fox rolled his eyes in amusement to his friend's comment. "As expected. Now let's get put of here before Eggman notices you're gone."
"Way ahead of ya." With that the two made there way out of the underground tunnel Tails had scoped out.

Sorry it's so short. And super sorry for the long hiatus. Between school and writer's block I've had no feel to add on to this story. But I'll try to be more productive, as much as possible. Thank you for the support and patient waiting. See you guys in the next chapter
