It was a normal day in Mobius. The clouds rolled aimlessly in the calm sky. Bird's chirps hadn't been heard all morning, it was truly at peace. That was until the yelling started. Though as quick as it had started, it was cut short by the crashing of glass. Crows cawed and flew about outside the their home before the silence took over. A brief moment of nothing. Stillness filled the air as emerald and ruby eyes shot daggers at the other. Each of their owners locked in a firm grip with the other. Sonic, whom was pressed up against the wall by his once rival, gripped the ebony's wrist in an attempt to push him away. Shadow, who rested slightly hunched over the slightly shorter hedgehog, had his gloved hands clenched tightly at his partner's tan shoulders. An empty stand sat next to them, and next to it a broken, expensive looking black and green vase.
A smirk grew on Shadow's face when he saw the smaller hedgie had no chance of escaping from his firm grip. Blue didn't like this one bit. "What the hell are you smiling at?" He spat in an annoyed tone. His only response from the larger being was, "I'm just admiring how sexy you look under me like this." Shadow's hand moved from his shoulders to Sonic's peachy chin, cupping it with his finger and gently forcing blue to look him dead in the eye. This caused the younger hedgie to flinch. "It makes me imagine all I could possibly do with you." The words melted off his tongue getting more emphasis from his deep voice and sensual tone. Sonic shuddered at the sound and felt he would crack on the spot. Not this time. "Don't even try that shit with me, Faker. It won't work this time." Shadow's face edged closer to his own, causing a slight blush to rise to his peach cheeks. "What makes you think they won't? You can't resist me. You've never had the willpower to do so enough to the point where you simply refused. But playing hard to get...you know how heated that gets me..." By now their noses were touching. They could could feel each other's warm, sweet breath brush against the fur on their faces. It was Sonic's turn to smirk. "I guess that's what you're gonna get, Faker." Hearing their sick nickname for one another brought Shadow that much closer to his lover. Inches apart from one another, Sonic closed the gap between the two. Locking them in a passion filled kiss as they wrapped their arms around one another. Shadow stuck his dominance by wrapping his arms around Sonic's waist and Sonic's arms around his neck. Which Sonic would only allow him to do when they were alone. He felt weak whenever Shadow would over power him like this in front of other people. They stayed like this for some time, when they broke apart for air both of them whispering as one, "I love you."
