Lis left Mavis to sulk in her room and went to the lobby were she found Dracula pleading with the guest.

"Friends, please, stop." It seemed like Dracula had the smallest bit of hope flickering like the low burning of an old candle in his eyes. It gave Lis hope that he might know what to do.

"It's too late, rat-bat!" called the wolf man.

"Please, I'm begging you." Dracula pleaded from behind the check-in desk. "I need you to help me find Johnny."

At least he knows what needs to be done... Lis struggled through the crowd of unhappy guest to join Dracula. ...And so do I.

"The human? He could've killed us!" yelled someone from the crowd.

"He touched my guitar!" cried the mummy.

"He put his hand in my mouth," complained the Invisible Man, "to see if it would disappear."

"He let me eat his scooter!" cried an old gremlin lady.

He wouldn't have killed them! That boy has probably never killed a fly! "I know Johnny is inconsiderate, naive, and even careless but he is also kind, sweet, and accepting! More than any other human anyway! And more than most of you!"

"I know I lied. I was wrong." Dracula looked to be near tears. "But you have to believe this: Johnny wasn't a bad guy. The truth is, I don't even know if humans are bad anymore." He spoke to one of the boxes that were on the counter, "Frank, come on, buddy. You understand."

The bride of Frankenstein cut the tape on her own box with her nail. She propped her head up on her arm. "He's not talking to you. First you tell us humans are bad, now they're good. What else? Up is down, cold is hot."

"Johnny isn't like other humans! He knew I was a monster and he still wanted to travel with me! He could have gone back to the town I lived in and told everyone, but he didn't. If he had then I wouldn't be here." Lis grabbed Dracula's hand and squeezed it slightly. "I'm proud to know him, even if he is a human."

Frankenstein popped out of his box. "I really liked Johnny, cousin or no. He told fun stories."

"I think they Zinged."

Both the wolf man and wolf lady spoke, "They Zinged?"

"But I got in the way and I have to fix it!" Dracula's hope was growing stronger in his eyes.

Frankenstein sobbed, "Y-You only Zing o-once in y-your l-life." Then he started to electrocute.

"Oy, now you're short-circuiting," cried the bride.

"I don't care!" Frankenstein wailed.

"Well, what are we doing? Let's get Johnny. Come on!" cried the mummy.

"Thank you," Dracula cried. Lis ran out to the car with Dracula. Before he got into the hearse he cupped Elisabeth's face in his hands and bent close to her. "I love you," he whispered before giving Lis a passionate kiss on the lips.

His lips were soft against her own lips. To Lis to kiss ended too soon. She wanted it to continue and never stop. She loved the taste of his lips and wanted more. She loved him. It was perfectly clear to her. This was where she was meant to be. With Dracula.
