~Third Person P.O.V~
It was early of October of 2015, Kaycee Jones, -21 years old- was searching through her house, desperately trying to find her phone.
She still lived with her parents in Mullingar, as silly as that sounded, but was moving out sometime in the next two weeks.
"Where is it? I thought I laid it right here," she said to herself.
She bent down to look under her bed, nothing.
She opened one of her drawers, she didn't find her phone, but a diary.
"I remember this," she said with a sad smile.
The diary with a big purple "K" for Kaycee stood out, as the rest of it was covered in silver glitter.
This was her diary with over 3,000 filled pages, from when she was just 14 through 18 years old.
She turned to the first page, when she had just moved to Mullingar, Ireland.
That day flooded her memories.
~14-year old Kaycee's P.O.V~
So today was just a Saturday. I usually spent it sleeping late and just being lazy, yep, living the life.
Well not this Saturday, no.
I was awakened by my parents yelling. I didn't quite get it so I decided to go back to sleep.
"Kaycee Jones, get your butt up! We're going somewhere important!"
"Where?"
"You'll find out soon enough! Get dressed!"
Ugh why did my mom have to go and ruin my Saturday, I bet it's not even important.
I threw on a t-shirt and shorts, I could honestly care less.
I brushed my hair and teeth and decided I looked decent enough. I ran out the door of my house (before locking it) to outside where my family was waiting on me.
"Jackson, how'd you get ready so fast?"
"I didn't lay down in bed for an extra 15 minutes when we were supposed to be up."
Jackson is my little 9 year old brother, he is a pain in the butt, but he's family so I just got to deal with it.
Currently I'm 14 years old, since it is only July of 2009. I was a freshman so that was fun I guess.
Jackson kinda looked up to me, so I was expected to be my best. Good attitude, good posture, friendly smile and attitude, and healthy. I didn't like these rules, but my family has made me live by them just about Jackson's whole life.
I just stuck my tongue out at him because I'm so mature. He just giggled.
We jumped in out car, me and Jackson sitting in the back and my mom and dad in the front.
No matter how many times I asked, they would not tell me where we were going.
I sighed and just looked out the window, watching the grass, cars, and trees go by.
We finally slowed down as a row of houses came into view. I looked in confusion as we pulled into a house's driveway.
"Ugh. Probably one of mom's friends houses. I do not want to visit anybody." I thought to myself.
