Secret Admirer

Chapter 6

I awoke to my alarm singing 'you need me and I don't need you' by the one and only 'ed sherran'.

I mean I know the album '+' is old and all but my mom played he albums around the house ever since I was little so I grew on him.

I dragged myself out of bed and walked into my bathroom turned on the hot water to warm up while I picked out my clothes for school.

I walked to my closet and stepped in I spotted a purple jack wills hoodie and white shorts and grabbed it along with a t-shirt to go underneath the hoodie.

I took my clothes to the bathroom and set them down on my counter,and pulled out a neon blue fluffy towel.

I slipped off my clothes and stepped in the shower letting the scalding hot water wake me up.

I pulled on my clothes then grabbed my backpack and iPhone.

I texted Brent

P:hey wanna meet at Starbucks?

B: yeah in 10

P: okay see you then.

I turned the other way and started off to Starbucks.

When I got in there I ordered 2 hot chocolates and sat down.

Brent walks in wearing a black v-neck and dark skinnies, with his hair in a quiff.

He sat down and asked" did ya order yet?" I smiled and said " yeah I got 2 hot chocolates,is that okay?" He chuckled and said " you know me so well..." He was interrupted by the cashier shouting " Peyton" I got up and walked over to where she was and said a quick thank you. I grabbed the hot chocolates and walked back to the table thankfully not tripping,and handed Brent one and kept the other.

I said "why don't we walk?" And Brent said "how about yes?" I died laughing as one of our old inside jokes was said.

We walked out the door along with the 'ding' as if it was saying goodbye. We started walking towards the school and I had to ask "Brent,who's that new kid?" It came out really quiet and sad. He looks at me and said "Pey, you have nothing to worry about he would never I mean never replace you. You've been here for me through everything so don't think that I'm going to stop loving you." He said me as I was getting very teary-eyed. I looked up at him and said " I just don't want to lose you..." He pulled me into a hug and said "Never." I sat there tears streaming slowly down my face.

He spoke up after a few minutes of almost compete silence. "Pey, you know that I love you right? Your like my sister who I never fight with and the person I can come to when I'm having a bad day. When your happy I'm happy. When your sad I'm sad, so please Peyton don't ever forget that I'm here for you no matter what." He spoke tearing up.

"Brent I love you so much I don't know where I'd be without you. You've helped me through my toughest times, when I was sick you'd come sit in my room keeping me company. Your my best friend,my brother." I said wiping away his tears "Please don't cry," he started sniffling and smiled at me as u wiped away my tears with my sleeve.

"We don't wanna be late do we?" He chuckled and I said "No," he said "then we should get going shouldn't we." I hugged him one more time and said " Lego then"
