Chapter 8

I walked over to my locker,put in my combo 24-6-0 and pulled at the lock,when it clicked, I opened the long blue door and a pice of notebook paper folded up,came drifting down to the floor.

I un-folded the paper it read

If I'm louder would you see me? Would you lay down in my arms and rescue me? Cos we are the same. You save me but when you leave it's gone again.

I quickly read it and then folded it back up.

I closed my locker and walked over to Brent's locker where he was waiting for me.

I shouted (even though he was right in front of me) " Brent, c'mon , we need to get to class," he laughed and said " okay,okay, clam your face,"we both laughed and walked over to the classroom.

-skip to after the last class-

I went to my locker grabbed my backpack and started out the door, when the new kid came up to me and said "we haven't met properly. I'm Cameron." With a beautiful smile. I grinned back and said " I'm Payton" we shook hands. I know shaking hands? I don't even know.

He said "Well I've got to go, my rides here. Nice properly meeting you!" I smiled and said " nice meeting you to."

I turned and saw Brent I ran over to him and said" hey buddie!!" He chuckled " hey, Pey." (Hahaha it rhymed)

We started talking about senseless stuff when we walked by my house I said " welp I'm going to go on home, ill see you tomorrow,yeah?" He said "yeah, see you tommrow."

I walked in my room and threw my bag on the floor then jumped face-first on my bed, and groaned.

I grabbed a towel and went into my restroom turned the water on and as I waited for it to warm up I walked in to my closet and grabbed a pair of white shorts and a black and sliver blouse, and the 'must haves' the walked back over to the restroom.

I showered quickly , dried my body, and put my clothes on. I plugged in my straighter and turned it on, to heat up while I blow-dried my hair.

I called up my only girl friend Bara

"Hey Bay" " hey Hun"she chuckled back " you wanna do somethin?" I said a smile evident in my voice. "Umm what you wanna do?" I laughed " I don't even know," she laughed and said met me at Starbucks in 10." I shouted " yes! I love Starbucks!" " see you in a few" she said before she hung-up.

I hopped down stairs to find my dad watching tv."daddy," he looked up at me and said " yes, baby?" " can I have like 20 dollars? Please" he huffed but pulled out an 20 and handed it to me " I love you , thank you." With that I walked out the door to Starbucks.
