Girl Meets New Years

It was New Years Eve and the Matthews decided to host the New Years Eve party. They invited their whole family. And to make the party even better, they also invited their close friends.

~1 week ago~

*At school*

"Hey guys. We are hosting a New Years party on New Years Eve and I was wondering if you guys would like to come," Riley asked her friends at the hallway. "Yeah sure. I'd love to," answered Lucas with a smirk.

"Same I'd love to go,"says Farkle. Everyone then turns to Zay. "Sure I'll go. But make sure there's enough food,"he answered. Riley laughed. "I'll prepare extra for you."

The bell rings and Riley, Maya and Zay went to class. Before Farkle could go in, Lucas stopped him.

"Umm Lucas?" Lucas drags him away from the door. "I need to tell you something."

"Okay what is it?" Farkle asked. "I think its time for me to ask Riley to be my girlfriend," he answered. Lucas has been waiting for a long time for his moment but he never got the right time to do it. He decided that it's been too long for them to keep being an 'unofficial thing'. He wants Riley to officially be his. So that no guy will steal her away from him.

"Now?" Lucas shakes his head. "No. I'm gonna plan something special and ask her at the party." Farkle smiled. "It's about time man. After all that stupid drama that happened between you two, I think you should finally tell her what she means to you." Farkle's right. Right now Riley is very confused about her and Lucas' relationship. She has began to lose hope. Lucas wants her to know what she really means to him. But he never got the chance.

"Yeah. I'll make sure she knows. We better go in," Lucas answered. Farkle nodded and they walk to class. Lucas didn't really pay attention to the class. He wants to show Riley that he still care about her. That she's still the girl on his mind. That she is the only girl she loves.

~New Years Eve~

6.00pm

The party starts at 7pm and Riley was really excited. She prepare the food while her parents decorate the house with streamers and balloons. When she finished, she went to her room to get ready. She wore a black high waisted skirt that ends above her knee, a cream knitted sweater, black knee length socks and her winter boots. She lets her hair go and adjust her curls. At about 6:30pm, Maya arrived at her bay window. She is wearing a mint coloured sweater with black and white leggings. Maya had her hair up in a messy ponytail.

"Whoa Riles. Lucas is gonna flip when he sees you," Maya said while smirking. "Lucas will not flip. I always dress like this," answered Riley while applying her lip gloss. "We'll see." Maya skips and sit on Riley's bed.

"So, is your Uncle Boing here yet?" Maya smiled to herself. She hasn't see Josh since that night she went to his college. "You'll never stop will you?" Riley knows that her best friend really likes her uncle. As much as the vision of her best friend and her uncle dating is horrible, she wants her best friend to be happy. "Nope."

"He'll be here in a few minutes," Riley answered with a teasing smirk. Maya smiled brightly and Riley laughed. "You are still not going to be my aunt," she jokes. Maya smirked and starts singing.

"I can't hear you ba da ba da ba da dab." The doorbell rings and they went to the living room. Cory opened the door to see Lucas, Farkle and Zay are at the door.

"You!" He points at Lucas. Lucas laughed. "Do we really have to go through this again sir?" Cory shrugged. "Yeah okay." He left and went to the kitchen. The girls greeted them at the door.
