Let's just take a moment and applaud me for finally updating after 20 years. I'm such a good author.. (note the sarcasm)

I think we should all thank Sasha a.k.a whatcolorisyourshirt and my sister's death threat for the reason to why I finally updated.

Warning: this is probably gonna suck.

Maybe you've already moved on.
But the truth is I don't want to know.

Riley was a mess.

After Lucas left for Texas, she locked herself in her room. Only getting out when she had to go to school.

But being at school didn't change the way she was acting. She keep fading in and out of conversations. She wasn't paying attention in class. Maya and Farkle are very worried about their best friend. For dinner, her parents had Auggie to sent her food for her. She spent the past week in Lucas' jacket. Even if it's 36 degrees out. Sometimes she would even sneak out of the house and walk over to Lucas' old room. Lucas left the window unlocked, so she could come in at any time. Like today. It's been a week since Lucas left and Riley is in his room staring into space. Boy did she miss him. She would do anything to have him with her right now.

Lucas wasn't doing too good either. He was more distant with his family and he was was quieter than usual. He was reunited with his old friends, Asher and Dylan. Of course he was happy, what kind of friend would he be if he's not? But he misses New York like crazy. Or a certain someone.

Torn in two.
And I know I shouldn't tell you
But I just can't stop thinking of you...
Wherever you are.
You...
Wherever you are.
Every night I almost call you
Just to say it always will be you..
Wherever you are.

~ 3 months later ~

Riley sat on her bed with her books scattered across the sheets. She put her earphones in and start working on her math homework.

After a couple of minutes, the doorbell rang. She took out her earphones but put it back in when she heard someone opened the door. She went back to blocking the world. It's back to just her, music and her math homework.

Then there's a knock on her door.

"Come in," she said not even looking up from her book. "Mum, I'll do the dishes in a minute. Just let me finish this page."

No answer.

"Mum?" She finally looks up from her book and her eyes widen in surprise.

She locked eyes with a familiar green eyed boy. His hair is messy, his face looks tired, like he didn't get any sleep. But he still has the same smile on his face.

"Lucas?"

"Hey Princess."

She just stood there stunned.
