Heartbeats reached a feverish rate as Jenna sat in the dark alley, bound and gagge.
Thoughts of OMG, I'm gonna die mixed dramatically with I got kidnapped! Something in my life is actually interesting! I must be mentally sick for enjoying this!
The girl with the curiously amber colored eyes looked at me thoughtfully, as if she were surprised that she had bound and gagged me. Guess she was a half-wit. Her name wasn't too familiar in Jenna's mind either, it was something like.. Liquid?
Sure, she was in her class, but everyone usually kept their distance away from her and her four friends. It's not that they were mean, but they weren't outgoing and friendly either. There was a certain prescence among them, like an atmosphere of power and danger. Not the best recipie for BFFs.
A slight twitch on the girl's mouth drew her attention. It looked curiously like a smirk, yet her facially expression held warm and friendly look. She extended her hand towards Jenna.
"I don't believe we've met before until I bound and gagged you about five minutes ago, have we? I'm Lique," She shook Jenna's hand with the firm grasp of an intelligent and strong leader.
Jenna thought her hand was going to burn off her arm.
"Who are you, exctly?" asked Jenna.
This brought a sly grin to the girl's face, but she stuck her nose slightly higher in the air and said, in an authoritive voice, "I'm Lique, your Republican candidate for the 2044 Presidential elections. Nice to meet you," and she shook Jenna's hand again.
Jenna closed her eyes and whispered for an ice pack.
A boy, with grey-white eyes and wispy hair, had heard Lique's proclamation as he dragged another student from the Academy into the same dak alley.
Jenna heard him whisper under his breath, "God forbid."
Lique glared at him, then did something incredible.
She closed her eyes and a dancing fire erupted out of nowhere. It was like she had summoned the fire out of pure willpower.
Her amber eyes- weren't they black when she first saw her - seemed to glow as she faced Jenna
