Chapter 11: Just Say Yes

So basically, Prom was next week and I didn’t have a date. Was I mad? Not really only a little but unlike some girls at my school. Was I happy? You got that right! This meant staying home and eating for 2-4 hours straight.

On the other hand, Robert didn’t agree with me. He was coming to L.A. for Prom and I and he were going to watch Breaking Dawn: Part 2 at the movie theaters. I didn’t enjoy his idea, but I didn’t really have a say in it; I had to follow Robert’s directions.

“Oh my gosh, shut up! I was in the fourth grade!” I laughed.

            The Crew—excluding Austin—and I were having a group call.

It was the seventh grade!” Alex chuckled.

            “Whatever, I was under peer-pressure.”

“We were like: ‘If Austin asks you something, just say yes! And you did,” Zach laughed.

“I would totally flip you guys off, but I can’t which sucks.”

They gasped dramatically, making me laugh and a smile appearing on my face. Gosh, these guys are such idiots.

“She was going to use her middle finger, on us,” Tyler fake cried.

I rolled my eyes as I got a Skype call. I hobbled my way to my laptop and clicked video, not paying attention to the Caller ID.

“Hey, she’s on the screen,” Robert exclaimed like a five year old touching a touch screen phone.

“Are you kidding me guys? You couldn’t FaceTime me instead of making me walk to my laptop when I’m not going to be physically able to pretty soon,” I groaned, running my hand through my lightly damp hair.

They all shrugged, not really caring with smiles on their faces and happiness shining in their eyes.

I focused on their background. They were eating, of course, and I heard people laughing and talking. The seats looked awfully similar. Where do you see yellow, red, and white together with black dots? In-N-Out across the street!

“Hey, the WiFi is acting up, but…” Robert didn’t know what to say at the end.

“But what?” I asked, my eyebrows scrunched together.

“Say you’ll be happy.” Robert smiled.

            “No.”

            “Yes!”

            “No,” I winked.

“Fine all your clothes that I gave to you will be in the trash once I get to your house whenever that would be.”

“Ugh, yes Robert I’ll be happy!” I fake smiled.

“Okay, in 10 or so minutes, open your door.” Alex instructed, before he hung up the Skype call.
