Claire

Claire saw Parker's mouth drop open.
Well of course.
Any person would've reacted the same way as Parker, if they were told the same thing Claire had told him.
She almost laughed.
But laughing at this kind of situation was a little... crazy.
Claire was aware of what Parker felt about her.
She was.
And she wanted to answer to it.
What broke her heart was that she couldn't.
If she ever told him, that she felt the same way he felt to her, he would've broken. She would've broken.
Even if she told him, she wouldn't have been able to be happy.
He wouldn't be either.
He would've been the opposite of happy.
But all she wanted was for him to be happy.
Pictures of him on her camera were enough for her.
She was satisfied with just that.
But is he?
Peter obviously didn't believe her. He started awkwardly laughing after.
Why am I such an idiot?
Any normal person would've been in denial, after hearing something depressing like that.
And she was stupid.
She chose a really strange and random moment to tell him.

"I'm not joking." She told him.

He stopped laughing. There was a blank look on his face.

The look on his face shattered her heart.
She couldn't take it.
