He Kissed Me

I quickly got dressed a skater skirt, basic white t-shirt with a pocket, and a red flannel. I slipped on black knee highs and low black converse. I did my makeup and straightened my hair. My hair was tied in a messy bun.

I woke up Maelia.

"Hey Maelia."

"Star?"

"Yeah, come on, get your stuff together so I can take you to Ms. Amanda's!" she jumped out of bed and got dressed. She grabbed a couple toys and set them in her bright pink and blue backpack. I french braided her hair and we were ready to go.

I dropped Maelia off and Presley and Alina were there.

I drove to the place Calum had planned the date, which was at the dock at the beach. A carnival was going on and there was a ferris wheel, rollar coasters, and games. I was amazed and took time to soak in the experince.

Calum walked up behind me and tapped my shoulder and I jumped.
"Oh, sorry love, did not mean to frighten you there." He smiled. I slightly smirked.

"Would you like to eat first? so we can spend he day on rides?" He asked me shyly.

"Sure! Sounds great!" I smiled and he grabbed my hand and took me to the burger place

"I know you like burgers, so I thought you would enjoy this place! Order whatever you would like." Calum said.

"Can I please have a cheeseburger with a side of fries, oh yes and a Dr. Pepper?" I asked he cashier.

"Can I have the same?" Calum said.

"Okay, two cheeseburgers, two fries, and two Dr. Pepper's?," Calum nodded, "$20.50 (£13.25)" at that note, I pulled out my wallet and Calum pushed it away grabbing his own. "Let me pay!" Calum said and I shook my head no. He handed the cashier the money and I frowned at him. "Too late." He responded and I kept my face.

We left torwards the tables to finish our food and let the food settle in our stomachs before going on any rides.

First ride, was a rollar coaster woth a huuugge drop and I was excited! I yanked on Calum's arm and pointed to it. He nodded in excitement.

We ran and got in line, and the line was only 5 minutes long so we got on quickly. Calum screamed loudly, and held in tightly. But in the end, I enjoyed it. We went on some more rides and played fun games. Calum won me a gigantic stuffed puppy.

The last ride on the dock we had went on was the ferris wheel. We got on it and reached the top. I mean, when he took my hand it was fine, but then, he wrapped his arm around me. I didn't think the most of it though.

We got down to the bottom at sunset. We walked down to the beach and sat down at a rock. Everything was fine, we just sat there watching the sun go down...I looked into his eyes while he looked into mine. I got lost in those brown eyes...and then it happened. He kissed me. I was shocked and couldn't move. "I gotta go." I grabbed my stuff and started walking away. "WAIT!" he yelled out and I ignored him.

I drove to Presley's and picked up Maelia and drove home. I was surprised when entering my door and finding Alina and Presley there...crying.

"What'a wrong?" I asked worried. Maelia ran up to her room.

"I got a scholarship...to UCLA. and I leave soon." Alina said. Presley sat there with her head in her knees.

"Oh...anything else I need to know?" I asked about to tear up.

"I got kicked out of the house for not wanting to go to college and not applying to any." Presley said looking up. I nodded.

"O-okay," I sat down, "the date with Calum didn't go well." I sighed.

"What happened?" They asked.

"He kissed me..." I said turning on the T.V. and they both were shocked.
