Louis' POV

I grabbed Harry's arm and led him up the stairs to my room, I had to talk to him.

"We have got to talk!" I almost yelled.

"What?! Is this about me and Belle?" Harry raised an eyebrow.

"Are you jealous? Why would you want Belle? You have Eleanor and she's perfect for you. And I thought you two were happy together." I could tell Harry was getting pretty upset.

"What?! No Harry, I'm not jealous I don't want Belle."

"Then why are you talking to me what's the problem?"

"I just can't take the PDA Harry. It's weird."

"What's weird about it? You and El hold hands in public and have PDA. It's what couples do."

"For one Harry you aren't a couple you haven't asked her properly. And two it's gross and dangerous."

"How's it gross and dangerous?"

"Harry she's like 15 it would be like if you were holding hands and kissing Lottie."

"Louis she's 16. Almost a whole year older than Lottie. She's 16 I'm 19, that's only three years. Three years isn't too bad.

"Yes Harry, three years isn't too bad when you're like 21 and 18, or even 20 and 17. But 16 and 19 that's just wrong.

"What's wrong with it? Those are all the same amount of years. "

"Harry it's a difference in maturity. A nineteen year old boy is way more mature than a 16 year old, girl or boy. Saying that I don't think my mum, her mum, or her dad would be to happy about a nineteen year old boy who's almost a man dating his 16 year old daughter."

Harry sat there and thought about what I had said for a moment. "Louis you don't understand. I've never felt this way about any girl before, and I've dated and been with a lot of girls."

I knew something like this was coming when he first said "you don't understand."

"She makes me feel like I can't explain. When I first saw her something inside of me said 'You're going to be with her forever.' Then when I took her hand for the first time it was like nothing I've ever felt before. I really like her Louis. I might even love her. When you really like someone you don't let trivial things like age interfere."

Wow. Harry had such a sincerity in his voice and he was serious. I could tell he was crazy about her, just by how he looked at her and the look on his face when he talked about her. He just poured his heart out to me something he almost never does.

"Alright, I see that you're crazy about her. I guess I'm cool with you dating our exchange student and I won't tell mum. I really don't blame you she is pretty."

Harry's POV

Louis is dragging me up the stairs to his room. If this is about me and Belle why is he upset? He shouldn't be upset he has Eleanor and they're perfect together.

"We have got to talk!" I know we have to talk why else would he drag me up the stairs? I thought to myself.

"What?! Is this about me and Belle?" I raised my eyebrow in suspicion. "Are you jealous? Why would you want Belle? You have Eleanor and she's perfect for you. And I thought you two were happy together." I was getting pretty upset. I don't really see how it's any of his business any way.

"What?! No Harry, I'm not jealous I don't want Belle." I could tell he was being honest.

"Then why are you talking to me what's the problem?" I spat at him.

"I just can't take the PDA Harry. It's weird."

I thought to myself how is our PDA weirder than anyone else's.

"What's weird about it? You and El hold hands in public and have PDA. It's what couples do." The so show some PDA in public so I didn't understand what the problem is.

"For one Harry you aren't a couple you haven't asked her properly. And two it's gross and dangerous."

That isn't fair to say I haven't asked her because we've only known each other a day and that WOULD be moving way to fast.

"How's it gross and dangerous?" I asked with a somewhat angry tone in my voice. It still wasn't clicking with me.

"Harry she's like 15 it would be like if you were holding hands and kissing Lottie."

I could see how that could weird him out considering Lottie is his sister. We aren't talking about Lottie though. So what's the big deal? She isn't 15 she's 16.

"Louis she's 16. Almost a whole year older than Lottie. She's 16 I'm 19, that's only three years. Three years isn't too bad." I am right three years isn't bad it's not too long.

"Yes Harry, three years isn't too bad when you're like 21 and 18, or even 20 and 17. But 16 and 19 that's just wrong." When he said that it was starting to click why he didn't like me with Belle.

"What's wrong with it? Those are all the same amount of years. " I really don't understand what Louis is saying.

He was right, they wouldn't. Maturity is a big thing but I really like Belle maybe even love her.

"She makes me feel like I can't explain. When I first saw her something inside of me said 'You're going to be with her forever.' Then when I took her hand for the first time it was like nothing I've ever felt before. I really like her Louis. I might even love her. When you really like someone you don't let trivial things like age interfere."

I can't believe I just said all that. I totally poured my heart out to him. I never have done that to anyone but my mum.

"Alright, I see that you're crazy about her. I guess I'm cool with you dating our exchange student and I won't tell mum. I really don't blame you she is pretty."

Louis saying this felt good. I mean I don't HAVE to have his opinion. I mean i didn't even really ask for it. I would still date Belle even if he wasn't ok with it. Since he's my best friend and she was his exchange student it was nice to hear. I walked across the hall to Lottie's room where Belle was staying, texting her quickly.
