Chapter 9

Lottie's POV

I walked up stairs to Louis's room to retrieve the boys.

"Louis, Harry Family meeting."

Harry looked at me knowing exactly what it was over and giving me a 'Good Job Lottie' face. Louis looked at him confused. And Harry mouthed "I will tell you later". I turned on my heels and walked down the stairs to the living room, Harry and Lou following close behind.

"This meeting is because we all have to plan something GREAT for Belle on her birthday because Lottie informed me of some sad news..." That was how mum began the meeting, her voice trailing off.

Everyone looked at her with a please continue look.

"Lottie said her parents forgot her birthday last year. She thinks her family and best friend will forget her 16th birthday. So does anybody have any ideas on what to do for her birthday?"

"I've been brainstorming what about a surprise party at a fancy place in London?"

"Great idea Lottie, but who's going to come that she knows? She's the exchange student we're the only ones she knows."

Harry spoke up next. "How about we fly up her best friend McKenzie?"

"That's great Harry since they spend each others together and go on a big shopping spree together." I added going along with it. Me and Harry were playing this whole thing off rather well if you ask me.

"Those are great ideas Lottie and Harry. Do you have any ideas Louis?"

"How about the other lads meet us to eat in London, and come too. Then we can hang out for a few days before we have to go back on the road?"

"That's great Louis! We will fly her best friend up for a while and maybe a day or so early so they can have their shopping spree."

Harry's POV

(*Note: His POV doesn't begin until halfway through the meeting)

Did she just say 16th birthday? I just assumed she was already 16. No wonder Louis made a big deal about the age difference it was about four, not three.

Ideas? I had tons, but I hope Lottie speaks up first because I don't want her to think I know something, and have been thinking about it pretty much all night. Well, since she poured her heart out to me anyways.

Lottie did speak up first with the Surprise party idea. Good job Lottie.

"Great idea Lottie, but who's going to come that she knows? She's the exchange student we're the only ones she knows." Johannah said, making it perfect for me to put my idea about flying her best friend up here out there.

"How about we fly up her best friend McKenzie?" I said. She'd love that, and then shed find out it was my idea and she would love me more. It was perfect.

"That's great Harry since they spend each others together and go on a big shopping spree together."

Lottie said that about the shopping spree. Good job Lottie. I must admit she is doing a good job playing it all off as her ideas.

Then Johannah said my... I mean our ideas were great. Then she asked Louis if he had any ideas. I honestly didn't know if he did or not so I was in for a surprise.

"How about the other lads meet us to eat in London, and come too. Then we can hang out for a few days before we have to go back on the road?"

That was an amazing idea they could hang with us for the month or two where its just recording and things like that, before we have to hit the road permanently for a few months.

"That's great Louis! We will fly her best friend up for a while and maybe a day or so early so they can have their shopping spree."

I'm glad Johannah said that. They get to have their shopping spree. I have a feeling this is going to be the best birthday Belle's ever had, and I'm really glad I get to have a part in it.
