The Sea Witch (Ereri)

Prologue

Long ago in the furthest depths of the sea, a cold hearted prince was about to marry a witch of the sea. This witch seemed to have possessed the prince, all believed this, due to the fact that his cold demeanor had softened considerably since meeting the witch. Although the prince knew of his subjects being displeased by the arrangement, he refused to call off the wedding that was quickly approaching.

On the day of the wedding, the prince was overjoyed by the fact that he would finally be forever married to his love. He didn't care what his subjects said, as long as he had his witch's heart. As the wedding march began and he turned to the doors and tried to repress his smile. As the doors opened he had to repress the urge to collapse and not talk to anyone ever again, his love was not there. As he pulled himself together and was about to yell out orders for the guards to find his witch, a messenger with a letter ran in. As he took the envelope he immediately knew the handwriting, and tore it open not caring what he found inside.

Dear Levi,

I'm sorry to leave you at the altar but I don't want you to continue to be looked down upon because of me. I know it's selfish of me to wish you a happy life without me, while I will forever be tormented by not being able to be close to you. I am leaving the sea, and do not want you to try and find me. Well, I want you to try but you won't be able to. Live your life as you please, not for anyone else. Also, remember that I will always love you. So look after yourself and my heart, because it is yours and will be until the end of time.

As Levi went to put the letter back in the envelope he felt something hard near the bottom. When he pulled it out, it was the golden engagement ring he had given Eren. Tears flowed down his face and refused to stop, no matter how hard he tried. I will find you Eren, this I swear.
