It was my first day at my new school. I wasn't nervous because no one would talk to me. The kid that was chosen to show me around would run away as soon as they could leaving me alone again. I put a dark red t-shirt on, black jeans with my long black coat. Something like Kim Kardashian would wear not that that's the reason I have it, I just really like it and it's different. It goes down to my calfs and has fake animal hair lining the outside and my red stilettos just to add something. My stile was weird as hell even I had to admit that. I mean I'm all dark and then bam red stilettos, yeah that was me. Stereotypical dark girls would wear all black with big chunky studded boots but that wasn't me. I stood out. The stilettos were one thing but the colour and why someone like me would wear them was a question to everyone, even myself. I left my dark black hair down covering my back and some parts falling on the sides of my face. I did a line of eyeliner on the top lid of my eye.
I started walking down the stair case when I noticed something flicker from the corner of my eye. I stopped in my tracks and walked backwards up two steps. I turned and saw Carson leaning against the rail of the stair case. He smiled at me when I saw him.
"Good luck on your first day of school, you'll need it," honesty
"Thanks, I'll see you there" I had stopped questioning why Carson was always creeping around my house I was used to it now. He used to live here and I guess he still wished he did. We got along really well so I didn't mind him appearing here and there when he wanted.
"I don't go to school"
"Why?" Lucky son of a bitch
"Cause I don't want to." I turned my face back to facing the front door as I thought, why did I have to go to school if I didn't want to? I could just say I was going then come home during the day with out my mum knowing. I turned back around but he was gone. Probably in my room looking out the window as he normally does. I walked back down the stairs and was about to walk out the door when my mother called out.
"Scarlett honey, I'll drive you." Yay. She was awkwardly running from the size of her stilettos, not that I can brag her for it seeing I wear them as well but at least I could walk in them. She greeted me with a smile on her face holding a paper bag. When she stopped at me she was puffed and had to take a few breaths to recover.
"It's the cigarets." I told her with a cold expression. My mum had always smoked since my dad left us. She's now addicted has about five a day, she'll get cancer soon and die. I don't feel sorry for her if she dies it's more so selfish because she'd be leaving her two kids alone without parents but she hasn't realised that yet, to caught up in her own life. I turned around to walk out the door when she grabbed my arm
"Wait, here's your lunch, Aiden get here now before we're late!" I rolled my eyes as she turned back to me with a smile. Aiden came running down in mustered coloured jeans and white surf brand t-shirt. He had slicked his long hair back, his usual style. We all hopped into the car and my mum drove me to school first.
"bye." I quickly hopped out of the car and shut the door before my mum could say anything. I started walking, then I heard her.
"Honey. SCARLETT, HAVE FUN!" She was so embarrassing. Only a few people heard but I just rolled my eyes and kept walking. I followed the map I was given and found my locker. I stuffed my bag in and got a book and a pen. I still had five minutes so I just leant against my locker waiting for the bell to go. I had nothing else to do but wait. I watched as the people walked by, placing them into the stereotypical categories.
The bell finally went and I made my way to my firsts class, history. As I walked there I felt the eyes of people on me. Probably gawking at the new and different person who had just started their school. I kept walking without making eye contact with any of them just keeping my head high, it made me look tough, as though I couldn't give a shit of what they were thinking."MOVE, seriously people theses days!"
"Yeah I know." I heard two girls say
I turned around to be greeted with two girls. One was pretty with long blond hair, crystal blue eyes and had on one of the sluttiest outfits I've ever seen someone wear at school. The other girl was shorter and had short dark brown hair. She also had blue eyes and a very slutty outfit. They both looked me up and down. They had a disgusted face expression as the blond one spoke
"And you are?" The blond girl now had a questioning smirk on her face, she obviously thought she was the best and could own me. I didn't reply I just turned around and walked into class.
"Well if you think you're so cool what brand is your coat? I bet it's target or some thing cheap like that!" She laughed at her remark and the blond nodded her head in approval. I turned around with a my normal face expression.
"Well I wish but you see I'm to rich to own target." The blonde one was quick to reply
"Ok then what brand is it?" She now had her hand on her visible hip with questioning smirk.
"Gucci"
"Pah-lease!" The blonde girl nodded as the brown haired girl said this. I kept the same expression on my face as I turned around. I stared walking into the classroom but was stopped by this innocent beautiful looking girl.
"I think your coat is beautiful". She had this sweet smile that made you want to know her more but before I even had a chance to say anything she was walking into the classroom with her friends.
As everyone found their seats I knew where I belonged. At the back of the class behind the 'popular kids'. I took my seat, no one beside me on either side. The day was over and I was thankful. I could now get away from these people that don't get me. I hadn't had any more encounters with the blonde and brown haired girls. Which was good. I grabbed my bag from my locker and walked over to my bus. I hopped on and everyone went silent. I walked to the last couple of rows and sat down on the seat. No one bothered to sit next to me. I plugged my head phones in and listened to Lorde. After about ten minutes it was my stop. The bus stopped right outside my house. I got up, I heard a few gasps as people had realised I lived in the rich area of town. I walked off the bus, a few others got off as well. There were still heaps of people on the bus observing as I walked up to my gate and opened it. I turned around to shut it and saw all the people looking at me. I stared at them for a few seconds, a deadly look in my eyes then I turned around and walked up to my house. I opened the door and heard the bus drive off. I shut the door behind me and made my way to the stairs.
