Chapter 10: Two Sons

Hey guys, I am so sorry for not updating. I had something very unexpected happen, my aunt, who was 55, passed away. My whole family had to take a long 25 drive to go to be with our family and go to her funeral. It has been a very hard time for us, I was very close to her and I miss her so much. But I'm back home and starting to feel better, so I should be able to update more often now. :)

Elarinya POV

"What is it that you have summoned me for, Lord Elrond?" I ask him as I walk closer to him and the two ellons.

Lord Elrond explains, "I am sending you on a very important mission. One that could be very dangerous so I will not have you go alone. These two ellons standing next to me will be joining you. Their names are Elrohir and Elladan. They are my sons."

At first I just stand there, because I had no idea that Lord Elrond had sons. Then I snap out of it and bow saying to them, "It is an honor to meet you Elladan and Elrohir."

Then I turn to Lord Elrond, "Are you sure you want me to do this? What is this task anyways?"

"I need someone to inform Lady Galadriel on everything that has happened. I need you to let her know about Lithóniel, that he has taken your sister and is starting a war. It is very important that you get to her and tell her this. But the road will be very dangerous. That is why I am having Elladan and Elrohir go with you. Do you accept this task Elarinya?" Lord Elrond asks me.

I have heard about Lady Galadriel. She could possibly help to save my sister. So I decide that I will go. "Yes, Lord Elrond, I accept this task." I tell him, trying not to sound to nervous.

Lord Elrond wanted us to leave right away, so we got what we needed; food, water, weapons, etc. and took off on our long, dangerous journey to inform Lady Galadriel what has happened. Elladan and Elrohir are walking just a few feet behind me to keep an eye on our surroundings. And to also keep an eye on me.

I know they did not say it, but I know that they are keeping an eye on me, making sure I'm safe. I don't blame them, I'm young and I'm not that skilled with weapons. I look back at them, Elladan is looking at the mountains to the right of us. We had a late tart, so now the sun is starting to set and go behind the mountains. It really is a beautiful sight.

Elrohir was looking at the mountains too, but when I turned around he looks over and smiles at me. I smile back at him then turn back around to look ahead again. Elladan and Elrohir are both cute. Wait, why did that just come to my mind? We are going to inform Lady Galadriel, I shouldn't be thinking that they are cute. I need to save Aerlinniel. All that matters right now is saving my sister.
