Hermione and Ron were standing next to me, each on one side of me. The three of us watched as Harry spoke to Draco. Every now and then, Draco would glance up at me, then look away again. I shifted uncomfortably as Draco eyed me again, his eyes raking over me slowly before resting on my face once more. After a few more minutes of speaking with him, Harry turned and walked to my side, but Draco, however, stayed where he was.

"Go talk to him," Harry told me. "I told him why you didn't show," Harry said once he noticed my unsure expression.

Slowly, I walked over to where Draco was standing. He looked me over again, but didn't give me any icy looks. Once I was standing before him, I glanced up at his face cautiously. Draco's face was blank, but at the same time, it was full of emotion.

It was awkward at first, because neither of us spoke. "I'm sorry, Bella. I should have listened."

I nodded, my eyes never leaving his face. "It's okay. I forgive you."

Draco smiled a bit. "Thank you," He then reached out and took my hand in his own, giving it a comforting squeeze.

I pulled my hand out of his grasp, but didn't move back like my mind was screaming at me to. I still wasn't used to other people touching me.

"The thing is, you're the first girl I've actually really liked, and I just got upset when you didn't show. I promise from now on that if anything happens between us, I'll just talk it out with you instead of getting so upset like I did before."

I nodded, finally happy that we had come to an agreement. "Okay."

Draco smiled, and I paused. He had such a breath-taking smile, and it made my heart skip a few beats before correcting itself again. Draco held out a hand, and I took it after hesitating for a moment or two. We began walking towards Harry and his friends. I kept my eyes glued to the floor, a smile crossing my face. Draco's hand in mine felt right.
