The next morning, as I rolled over to go back to sleep, Hermione's voice rang out, waking me up before I even had the chance to close my eyes again.

"Bella!" she called.

"What?" I groaned, lifting my head to look at her.

"Classes start soon!" she said, walking over. "You need to get up. Harry and Ron are in the Common Room waiting for us."

"No," I placed my head face-down in my pillow, wanting to go back to sleep.

Hermione laughed. "You aren't exactly a morning person, are you?"

"No," I repeated.

Hermione laughed and pulled me out of bed. Groaning, I got dressed and pulled my hair back into a ponytail. When I walked downstairs, I immediately went over to Harry and laid my head on his shoulder. He laughed and patted my back.

"Sorry, Bella," he said, still laughing. "I know you want to, but classes start soon."

"No," I said again for the third time.

Harry smiled and pulled me along with him and Hermione and Ron. We got down to the Great Hall for breakfast, but I didn't eat again. At least, not much. I nibbled on some toast, but that was it.

Harry glanced at me and sighed. "Bella, again?"

I shrugged. "I'm at least eating something.

"Not very much," Harry sighed. I shrugged again.

"Aw, is wittle Bella not wanting to eat?" I heard two voices ring out. Turning, I looked to both of them. They were gingers like Ron and Hermione.

"That's Fred and George, Ron's brothers," Harry said. "And Ginny, their sister," he spoke again, just as another ginger haired girl sat down next to them.

"What?" The girl named Ginny looked up at Harry, having heard her name.

"I was just telling my sister who you were," Harry responded, giving her a smile. "This is Bella, Ginny." She gave me a warm smile, but I only turned away.

"Don't worry, she's like that with everyone," Harry said to her. "People scare her."

The twins, Fred and George, burst out in laughter. Looking at them with a dark look, they only laughed harder.

"Bella, are you coming?" Harry turned back, looking at me.

I shook my head, my chin resting in my hand. "No, I think I'm just gonna stay here for a bit."

Harry turned to Hermione and Ron and said, "Why don't you two go ahead? I'll be there in a few minutes." It was after dinner that day, and I was sitting at the table still, thinking about nothing in particular. Harry walked over and stood next to me.

"Are you okay?"

I nodded. "Yeah, just thinking."

He nodded as well. "I'm gonna stay here, if you need anything."

I nodded again, watching him walk away. Professors McGonagall, Snape, and Dumbledore were still in the Great Hall, speaking with one another, but they stopped when they saw me sitting there still, with Harry a few feet away.

"Hey," a familiar voice said.

Looking up, I noticed Draco standing there. "Hi," I said.

He looked at me, sitting across from me. "Are you okay?"

I shrugged. "Just thinking."

"About what?" Draco asked, placing his arms on the table.

I could feel Harry's gaze on me, but I didn't look at him. I knew the professors were watching, as well. "Do you really hate my brother so much?"

Draco shrugged. "He's not my favorite person in the world..."

I sighed. "Draco, I'm serious! Why don't you like him?"

Draco looked at me for a minute before speaking. "Well, he's always trying to be the hero."

I had to agree with that one. "That's true, I'll give you that."

"And he seems very overprotective of you," Draco continued.

A frown crossed my face. "He's always like that. I'm his little sister, of course he's going to be overprotective of me," I told him. "And that fact that we have to go back to... where we're staying after the school year is over, he's still going to be like that. I mean, don't you have anyone that's overprotective of you?"

Draco nodded slowly. "My father."

"It must be nice having a dad..." I sighed.

Draco frowned, tilting his head to the right a bit. "Right, your parents died."

I sat up a bit straighter, and looked away, towards Harry. He stood up and came over to my side. "What did you say to her, Malfoy?" he asked, pulling me closer to him.

"What are you talking about, Potter?" Draco fired back.

Harry turned to me. "Bella, why don't you go wait outside in the hall? I'll be right there."

After a moment, I sighed. Harry placed a hand on my arm, comforting me. "It's okay. I'll be right there, I promise." Sighing again, I turned and walked out.

Third-Person POV

"I know you like my sister," Harry said. "I'm not gonna deny that it's not obvious. But if you're going to be dating her-"

"You're allowing me to date her?" Draco's face brightened a bit.

Harry only stared at him. "If you'd let me finish," he nearly growled. "There's a few things you need to know about her. First, she gets offended and hurt easily, so you need to be careful with what you say to her. Second, you do not want to see her upset or angry. Trust me, it won't end well for either of you, especially Bella. I've had to see her cry one too many times, and it will break your heart if you see her crying. When she gets mad, she cries. It's just what she does," Harry started to walk away, then turned back at the last minute. "Oh, and there's one more thing you need to know," he said. "If you hurt her, I will personally kill you. That's a promise."

Draco whipped his head around to stare at the professors still in the room. Snape began walking forward, but Dumbledore placed a hand on his arm.

"Let it go, Severus," he said. "Harry was right to say what he did. I've learned for myself that Bella is a very fragile girl, and she needs to be treated with care. And if she's not... Harry's right." Dumbledore gave a small shrug of his shoulders.
