basically, person a breaks up with person b. person b is still helplessly in love with person a but wishes person a happiness. person a claims they don't love person b anymore. you can decide whether it's a happy ending or not. (again, you can either take what i gave you as a summary or just use the quote for inspiration. i wanted it to be as vague as possible so everyone can take the same basic idea and turn it into completely different stories. (i really hope at least one of you makes it into a larry fic))
