Victoria's POV

I was standing in the round pen we used to train horses with. Right now my beuatifal bay horse, Bailey, was running around me in a perfect circle. She was almost completely trained and now i was basically just keeping her on a good work-out system. As Bailey ran past me the wind from her speed blew my curls up around my face, they were getting really long and i was considering cutting them short like i usually did every summer, but for some reason this year i couldnt bring myself to it just yet. The hot sun was beating down on me and i was wearing my jeans, and a pink tank top that spelled  "Rodeo princess" in sparkles across my chest. My brown cowgirl boots were planted firmly into the dry dirt in the center of the pen so i could watch Bailey as she ran around me.

From behind me i could hear a vehicle come roaring down our driveway and pull into our large driveway in front of the even larger ranch style house i called my home. From the distance i could see my mother come through the door and wave at me to come over. Grabbing my cowgirl hat and placing it on my head i made a clicking noise. Bailey trotted over to me, she was already ready to mount so i pulled myself into the saddle and leaned over to open up the gate to the pen, seconds later i was trotting over to the house and the strange SUV that had pulled up there along with the two strangers that had gotten out.

"Victoria!" My mother called when i was close enough "Look who has come home for a visit"

I started to smile expecting to see my older brother, Mike, comming home from Colledge for the weekend or something. But my smiled snapped off my face when i saw who was really here.

I didnt know it was him at first, after all, i hadnt seen him since the begining of highschool but when he turned around i instantly new him.

Tucker's POV

Pulling into the old farm yard i was facing a flash of memorys. This was where Vic and i had spent most of our summers and spare time if we werent at my own home. I couldnt count the numerous times we had climbed trees just to see who could climb higher or sneaking into the barn just to see the new foles that Victoria claimed she would one day train just like her dad did.

"You will never be a horse whisperer" I had said one time when we were about 12

"Will so" She said, sticking out her tung "You wait and see Tucker Taylor, i will be the best trainer around when im older"

I had only smirked at the time but from what i had heared she had made her own dreams come true.

As we got closer to the house i could see how little the place had changed but so much how it had. The house was a different color, freshly painted, so was the barn and a round pen that i could now see a horse running around in with a woman standing in the middle, hands on her hips and watching the animal proudly.

"Your sure you want to stay here?" My cusin Tyler asked me as we pulled up in front of the house "Its been years. Why dont you just stay at home?"

"This place was just as much my home as your place is" I said to him

"Yeah but your forgetting something" He said "Victoria"

I sighed

"Oh believe me" I replied "Shes the one thing i havent forgotten"

And it was true. Ever since i had left for California, Victoria Stevens was the one thing that i had not forgotten.

We stopped in front of the house and Mary, Victoria's mom came out. She was older then i remembered but only slightly, after all, it had only been about five years since i had left.

"Tucker!" She exclaimed, wrapping her arms around me "My you have grown up so much"

"Its nice to see you Mary" I said

She looked me up and down, i couldnt blame her, i had grown about half a foot and aged alot, turning my boyish features more man like.

"Im so glad you wanted to stay here" She said "it just hasnt been the same without you"

"Thankyou mam" I said and then hesitated  "Does she know?"

Mary's smile faltered slightly

"No" She said, her smile quikly plastered back on her face "Victoria! look who had come to visit!"

I hadnt even heared the sound of hooves comming up behind me, i turned around to see the horse that i had seen in the round pen standing before me, and on it the woman who i had seen training it.

Not woman

Victoria!

What i saw was not the girl that i knew five years ago. This young woman was tan, like the old Victoria, but now she seemed so have a glow to her that looked both natural and stunning. Her blue eyes looked like they had been stolen from the sky above and her golden hair was dripping long wavy curls around her. She was also curvier, but not in the bad way, her waist was the perfect size but she didnt fill out those jeans or tank top to bad though.

The smile that had been on her face literally a mila-second before she saw me instantly vanished from her face. Replacing it was shock and then of course anger and then i was definitly sure i saw hurt before her face became completely composed.

"Tucker" She said sullenly, as if she were talking about nothing more important then a fence post "Your here?"

"Hey there Vicky bob!" Tyler broke in

Victioria's attention snapped to him and the blinding smile that i had seen seconds ago was back on her face

"Tyler!" She exclaimed

Dismounting her horse she practically launched herself into my cusins arms from the stirup. Laughing he spun her around, cowgirl boots right off the ground.

"You havent come seen me in a long time" She said accusingly but grinning at him at the same time

Tyler straitened the hat on her head and smiled

"Well a certain little lady hasnt dropped by to see me eather" He said "What that new truck of yours to good to Taylor property?"

Victoria snorted

"No" She said "I have just been to busy trying to fix your knot head of a horse"

"Oooooh" Tyler said "Well then in that case, stay the hell off my property until he can stand long enough to at least be saddled"

"Already done babe" Victoria said

My jaw dropped. This was not the Victoria Mason that i used to know. The Vicky that i knew was to shy to even look a guy except for me, now here she was calling my cusin, who was four years older then her by the way, babe? oh god!

"Um excuse me?" I said "But what horse?"

Victoria sent me a menacing look, startling me. Her eyes norrowed into little blue slits and i swear i saw red flash.

"Your horse" She said, menace burning under the calm "For some reason he wont let anyone ride him let alone saddle him"

"Hes been here for almost a month" Tyler explained "We dont know what to do with him"

"You mean you dont know" Victoria said, turning soft on him again "I have things perfectly under control"

Tyler rolled his eyes

"suuuure" he said

"I want to see him" I said "I want to see Toby"

Victoria rolled her eyes

"Unpack your things" Mary said "Then im sure Victoria will be perfectly happy to take you to Toby"

"Yeah and to shove a branding iron down my throat" I heared Victoria mutter as popped the trunk and pulled out my suitcase, I grimaced, yeah i hadnt forgotten Victoria Mason alright, and she clearly had not forgotten me.

Or what i had done to her
