Ahem....so hi?...okay enough with the glares I'm sorry! I always promise quicker updates and then fail to provide them I'm a terrible person and I apologize. This chapter just did not want to be written, it took me forever to figure what I wanted to do next then I found my original story line and even though I have pretty much completely scrapped it this little idea fit perfectly. So here you go I hope you guys like it!

Trees blur as she stumbles, running as fast as she can. The full moon shone brightly in between the trees giving her just enough light to see her way through the dense woods. She had to get away, she pushed herself forward, the leaves crunching beneath her feet and her heavy breathing are the only things she can hear echoing in the night. Suddenly, her foot catches on something and she's tumbling to the ground, with a loud gasp she throws her hands out to catch herself. She lays there stunned, as she tries to catch her breath.

CRUNCH.

Oh no he's coming! She tries to push herself up only to trip once more. Her foot had gotten caught in a large tree root, frantically she tries to pull her foot free.

CRUNCH.

Tears fill her eyes as her hands scratch at the root. Come on! Come on!

SNAP!

A pair of sneakers step forward, making her freeze. Oh God he's found her. Her body begins to tremble as she keeps her eyes trained on her stuck foot, not daring to look up at him.

"Hey there little bird, need some help?" A warm voice sounds as he crouches down to her level. Confused she slowly brings her eyes up to rest on a young boy around her age, it was difficult to see his features but from what she could tell, he had long hair, possibly brown, maybe blonde? His eyes shone brightly in the moonlight, looking at her with concern, his full lips pulled into a soft smile.

This wasn't HIM, her stalker was bigger, scarier, determined to hunt her down and hurt her, just the thought of him made her shiver. The boy seemed to notice her trembling and his lips pulled into a small frown, he gently grabbed her leg, carefully pulling her foot from the root. Her trembling slowed as warmth flooded through her at his touch, she looked up at him with wide eyes as he stood up and offered his hand.

"Well are you going to sit there on the cold ground all night? I can imagine much better places to relax than on sticks and leaves." The boy's teasing, warm voice soothed the rest of her chills and she quietly took his hand. To her great surprise he effortlessly lifted her up. Not quite prepared, Sang stumbled into his chest and strong arms wrapped around her waist steadying her.

"Whoa there, there's no need to go falling for me already." The boy looked down at her with a playful grin that seemed to light up his face. She reluctantly pulled away from the safety of his arms, mentally thanking the dark for hiding her now flaming cheeks.

"You have a name little bird?" He asked after a moment of silence, letting her collect herself. Clearing her throat she muttered her name softly.

"I'm Sang."

"Sang. That's a unique name, I like it. A beautiful name for a beautiful girl." He let out a soft chuckle as she turned her face away as it once again lit up.

CRUNCH.

Sang whipped her head toward the sound. She had felt so safe with the boy that she had forgotten why she had been running in the woods to begin with. He was still after her. Her trembling began once more and she took a step back preparing herself to run once more when a warm hand was place on her arm.
