So once again this wasn't planned I know I keep promising Liza but I figured I would try one of the guys Pov. I'm not sure if I got his personality right...also there are some more hints about a couple of the guys gifts this chapter.
Kota's POV
After watching Sang run home, the guys all herded into the house and into the living room. They sat there quietly for a long moment as they thought about what had happened. They probably shouldn't have brought Sang on a mission, but there was just something about her that made him want to spend as much time with her as possible, and he could tell Nathan and even Silas felt the same way. They also figured it would take more than one trip to discover what was going on, Sang had unknowingly helped them out. There had been odd things happening at the mall and they had been given the task to find out who or what had been causing havoc.
It had been a bit difficult to slip off, but luckily Nathan rang his phone after disappearing. They had wandered around the mall, leaving Silas to do his own quick search near Sang, while Nathan shifted in and out to see if he could catch anything. They had already started to work their way back to the food court after walking to the end of the level finding nothing, when he got the vision. The image of the gleeful poltergeist teasing a scared Sang, causing harsh winds and tripping her, had Kota instantly sending a text to Silas and then the two took off running. They reached the food court to find Silas standing there with a shaken Sang, who was looking around in bewilderment. He instantly felt bad about bringing her with them and a glance at Nathan showed that he too was feeling guilty.
On the ride home he tried to make things seem normal by joking around with the guys, but the quiet spaced out girl in the back was making him feel horrible, so he didn't protest when she immediately ran home. Letting out a sigh he pulled out his phone and called Mr Blackbourn giving him a quick run down of the poltergeist and agreeing they would have to go back with Gabe later. After giving the report Kota looked over at the other two to find Nathan setting up the Xbox.
"Mr Blackbourn, isn't too happy with us bringing Sang, and I have to admit it wasn't a very smart idea." He sighed sitting back into the couch. Nathan tossed him a controller and plopped down next to him.
"I'm sorry man, this is all my fault. I'm the one that made the stupid bet."
"I agreed to let her come, I wanted to get to know her some more but I should have protested. We had no idea who or what was messing things up, it could have been worse than a poltergeist." He pressed his glasses back up on his nose with a frown.
"Well I for one am glad I got to meet the Aggele. She seems different than most girls around here, I am sorry for her having to go through that though." Silas piped up. The other two nodded in agreement and turned their focus onto the screen as the race began . After beating Nathan in two races and losing to Silas once, Kota was playing his second race with Silas when everything faded around him.
Sang was kneeling on the kitchen floor, holding her cheek, a bright red hand print showing where she had obviously been smacked. Her green eyes were filled with tears as she followed something out of his sight. Suddenly a hand appeared holding a glass of what he first thought was water, but seeing the horror on Sang's face he guessed that it was something worse. He watched as she struggled to pull away from the glass only to have her hair pulled back viciously. Sang gasped, and the woman's back came into view as she took advantage of that to pour the drink down her throat. Instantly she started to cough and gag, but the woman didn't let go until the entire glass was empty. Once free of the woman's grasp, Sang instantly doubled over getting sick.
