The boys walked up to the front desk where an older lady sat and smiled at them.

"How may I help you?"

"We're here to pick up our baby."

"Ok i'll need you to fill out these forms you can sit in the waiting room right over there."

She pointed to a small room with French doors and two couches, there were a few magazines on the end tables and a TV playing a soccer game. We were the only ones in there.

It was simple paperwork. There were questions like

"Name of the baby you're here to pick up." and other things like our names and date of birth.

We went back and handed the lady the forms and she led us upstairs.

She told us a little about the orphanage while we walked up to the fourth floor also the top floor.

"The babies are on the top floor because that's where my room is too. It's easier to get to them if anything ever goes wrong. On the third floor are the toddlers 4-8,my daughter who is 18 now lives on that floor and take care of the children there in case they need help. Second floor is children 9-14, no one is on the floor with them but we are fairly close and the older kids help out a lot too. The first floor is for the older kids, there isn't that many. Kids 15-17 are there and they can take care of themselves pretty much. There's a bathroom on every floor. And there's two kitchens down stairs for everyone."

By the time she was done talking we had made it to the fourth floor and as she lead us down the hallway to see our baby we got more and more anxious.
