Shattered Glass

The thirteen when it was finally time prepared for battle. Each having prepared flew away from Cybertron heading towards Unicron. They manage to get him wounded enough to retreat but wounds leaked from them as well. Optimus, being the least wounded and patched up the quickest volunteered to go and scout for Unicron.
With the others agreement, the youngest of the thirteen took off after Unicron. Landing on an asteroid far enough away Unicron wouldn't notice him and still close enough to watch and hear what the massive god.
Optimus opened a comm with his brothers and sister. "I have located Unicron." But only static resounded from his comm.
He blinked in surprised when the asteroid in front of him was destroyed and Unicron glowered down at him.

Solus checked through the comm system. She found a message from Optimus. "I...locate...cron...." The crackle of static made the message nearly incomprehensible but she got the message sure enough. Dashing to her fellow Primes, she called them to action. Off they went to the last location of their youngest brother.
Arriving at the scene of destroyed asteroids they found Optimus floating with purple wisp rising from wounds littering his body. Prima lifted the young one. "Brother what has happened?"
No answer came and the others grew worried. Returning to Cybertron the remaining twelve sought the guidance of Primus. Leaving the weakened prime to heal the made their way to the core.
Primus's glowing spark greeted them all. "My children why have you come?" The tired voice of their father rang.
"We seek guidance father. Optimus is weak from Unicron's attack." Prima began.
"I see. There is not much I can reveal, but one of you shall betray me." The twelve there shifted glances. 9 landed on Megatronus while Megatronus locked optics with Liege. Solus and Alpha Trion shared a look before refocusing on Primus. "I'm sorry my children but now I must rest."
With that the twelve left the core to visit their young brother. They were shocked to find him sitting up. Solus and Alpha took notice to a purple tint in his optics but didn't bring it up. Instead after Optimus was informed they took their leave to converse about the events.
"Alpha this bad. Our youngest brother has Unicron messing with his head and we don't tell any of our brothers." Solus began as they entered her workshop.
"I know Solus but if Primus wanted this to be shared with our brothers then he would have just said something." Alpha Trion began.
"And yet you told me. Why!?!" Solus demanded slamming her hammer on her work bench before turning to look at Alpha.
"Solus I told you because of what I know. I have a project for you." Alpha was hesitant looking around for any listeners.
"Oh. And do pray tell what this project is before I make you tell our brothers about Optimus." She snarled being at the end of her patience.
"You know how we are in tuned with another universe that is nearly identical to this one but is backwards?" Alpha Trion questioned.
"Yes, I do. Now spit this project of yours out." Solus snapped.
"Well I believe it might help for the future if a device was created to travel to that dimension..." Alpha trailed off.
"Then we could either send our Optimus there or..." She paused before shrieking. "YOU'RE NOT SERIOUS, ARE YOU? You mean to say that if worse comes to worse we bring our counterparts here to deal with him."
"Solus, we are to protect Cybertron in every way that we can. Even if it means that we need help from others." Alpha replied calmly.
"I... But.... Still... He's our brother.... We... No...." Solus shook her helm in disbelief. She looked at Alpha Trion's optics. "Please Alpha, what is his fate? What is so bad that you have to ask me to do this?"
"I'll show you." With that Alpha Trion pulled out the Covenant of Primus. Flipping to the page and took Solus's servo and placed it over a section. Both their optics glowed white as their minds were taken into the books pages.
Solus staggered back away from the Covenant after seeing what she did not want to see. Alpha Trion merely closed the book. "Now you see why I ask you to do this Solus. Please Sister, it is only if I cannot stray him from Unicron's path after he is reborn."
"Alright Alpha but by no means can it be used for any other purpose." Solus consented.
"Hopefully it won't be used at all." Alpha commented.
"Yeah hopefully." Solus muttered as she pulled the items needed for the project.
