Squidward has lead a lonely life, simply containing going to work at the Krusty Krab and playing his clarinet, which he thought he was quite good at. This was not the truth, though. Many citizens of Bikini Bottom often mistook his music for a dying animal, or they just ran away in shock and disgust from hearing such a repulsive noise. One night, Squidward had decided on something: He, who had a steady income and a well furnished house from working at the Krusty Krab, decided to quit the very same job that gave him sustinance to pursue a more creative career of playing his clarinet.
