Ok. This chapter is.......wait. I'm on chapter 10 already! That was fast. Anyway, I guess enjoy this chapter.

Layla's POV.

I walked slowly down the streets of New York and sighed kicking a rock down the block.

Me and Nick just got into another argument about Raph.

~Flashback~

Me: He's mine, Nick.

Nick: No. He's mine.

Raph: Will you two shut up?! I'm not any body's.

Me: *sighs* Sorry.

Nick: Hey. I was going to say sorry, first.

Me: Well, you didn't.

Nick: *groans*

Me: (This is stupid) Nick. Go ahead and have him. I'm better off alone. *walks out of room*

Nick: Layla! Wait!

~Flashback ends~

Here I am now. Alone, Cold (not really), and kinda upset for some reason.

Suddenly, the Purple Dragons appeared. I reached for my katana, but realized that I have left it at the lair.

Crap. Not a good time to leave your weapon.

"Looks like the baby doesn't have her weapon. Shame." said one of te members.

I stood there in a fighting stance.

They laughed and charged at me. I closed my eyes preparing for impact, when I heard a thwack sound.

I opened my eyes to see a boy that wore black and had a hockey stick.

Casey?

Wait. That wasn't Casey. Casey has longer hair. The boy hadd short freshly cut hair. I smiled.

He's cute. Eww. Did I just think that?

I rolled my eyes.

A few minutes later, all the Purple Dragons were lying on the ground moaning. I walked over to the guy.

"Hey. Thanks." I said.

He nodded.

"Your welcome. What's your name?" he said.

"Layla."

"The name's John."

He then handed me a slip of paper and smiled.

"Call me if you need any more assistance." he said. He then turned and roller skated away.

I smiled.

I think I like him.

Ok. I know that it's really short, but I had nothing to write. Anyway, here is a new character ,John. Don't worry, you'll find out more about him later. OOOOOOOHHHHH!!!!
