~Vanoss' P.O.V~

I didn't leave Delirious' side, i couldn't even if i wanted to, i feel so tired yet so alive and awake. i didn't know why my mood changes so quickly these past few days, maybe because of the situation i am in now.

i couldn't tell if i am scared that he'll leave me or i am scared that he'll get killed. i mean, yes i have been in a relationship once but-..it didn't really go as i had planned it would be. it tore me apart, it broke me to see the one you love cheating on you and dating you only for your money..it freaking hurts like hell! and i don't want that to happen ever again!

i could feel Delirious stirring in his sleep, his peaceful slumber that i feared he will never wake up from but eventually he did. i nuzzled his neck before releasing a shaky breathe to let him know that it was just me, it took a little while for him to relax from my touch but he did anyway.

"Evan?" he whispered and wrapped his arms around me, at times like this i just wanna thank the heavens above that i  have him near me, even though i am being an asshole to all the citizens in this city, and the cops are after me, i was still thankful for the life i have now..a life with Delirious right beside me.

"how are you feeling?" i asked him, he just hummed indicating that he was just fine. i shrugged it off and nuzzled closer to him, closing my eyes and feeling his warmth distribute itself to my body.              
"I thought i lost, you Delirious" i could feel my eyes start to water but i fought them from falling. Delirious started to stroke my hair and placed his head on top of mine "but i'm fine now aren't i?" he pulled away from the embrace and smiled at me.

that smile..it was always the one that would give me butterflies n my stomach. it was always the smile that would shut the world out from my head, the robbery, the plans, the troubles, the cops..everything! he was always the one to calm me down.

after a while, i could hear Delirious' soft and normal breathes, a sign that he was already sleeping in peace. it was still early in the evening and i have a ton of planning to do

So i slowly crawled out of his embrace got some blueprints and made my way towards the planning room. The planning room was a quiet place. fullybsound proofed and worry free, it was somewhere i can go to clear my mind but also where i brainstorm for the next move.

I got all the blueprints out and looked them over, the next mission was supposed to sponsored by this guy called Felix but i haven't got any feedback yet so decided to push it away for now

"Eeyyy!! Evan!" I heard a familiar voice from behind and saw Wildcat making his way towards the fridge.
I rolled my eyes playfully.
"Yeah" i plainly said returning my gaze back to the blueprints in front of me.

"New mission? Again?" Wildcat groaned and got a bar of chocolate from the frigde. He then sat on the counter unwrapping the treat in his hands.
"Why the grumpy attitude? We always have a client in our hands"

"Exactly!" Wildcat pointed his chocolate bar at me and took a big bite from it.
I raised an eyebrow at him.

"I was thinking we could relax for a bit... you know, like the old days"
Wildcat suggested.  I shifted for a bit remembering those so called "old days" .the reason why hated those days was because of Moo..he's out of my life now yes..but..I can't help but feel uneasy about a day off...
Hmm..maybe Bahama mamas will do...for now.

"Fine..we'll have a day off tomorrow ,you guys can go to Bahama mamas while Delirious and I will go somewhere else..I need to apologize to the kid..is that okay?" of course that's a lie..but not entirely..i wanted to make up to him and show him how much i care..how much i love him.
Wildcat had that shit eating grin on his face when I said that
"Yes!! He screamed and bolted in hits room, probably to tell mini or something..they kinda share one room so yeah..
I rolled the blueprints and went towards Delirious' room to tell him.
When I got there he was curled up in a cute ball on the bed. Awe..how can he be so adorable at a time like this? But the again he is always adorable.
Closing the door behind me,  I crawled on top of him and kissed his cheek that result to him waking up.
