~Delirious's P.O.V~
I decided against it, it will just be a silly statement to them anyway, like seriously, i can't just be like "hey guys i have this weird feeling in my gut can we like..go home?" Instead, a different statement escaped my lips.
"Evan, i'm seriously fine, i've just been dozing off for a while cause i'm tired" i lied through my teeth, it was just a hunch anyway, nothing more.
"So Evan, what shall we do today? Kill some people? Rob some stores?" Tyler asked but got cut off by Lui
"And steal all the gummy bears!"
Everyone laughed whole heartedly but i just sat on my seat, practically gripping the edge of the fine fabric that covered the seat.
"Well, i was think about robbing the nearby bank we have here" he stated, leaning back his seat as Lui rolled the window down to let in some fresh air, when the wind hit my face-er..Mask, i let out a loud sigh and rolled my window down.
"Oh, goin for a short adventure are we?" Terrorizer remarked.
Evans sighed
"Well, considering after this we'll have to cancel all other missions"
Everything got silent then.
Lui looked back at Evan and so did everyone else, except Widlcat who was driving of course.
"What do ye mean by that, Evan?" Nogla asked turning his attention away from the window.
"Guys, we have to track the Nightlock crew, they're obviously trying to rise up agaisnt us and i can't afford any more members getting hurt" Evan explained.
"True true" Tyler agreed.
"Well we can hold the missions...but for how long?" Lui asked in his normal voice, he'd been eyeing me for a while now, and it made me a little uncomfortable.
"That we don't know" Evan started"
I seriously wanted to get off, it's making my stomach sick.
I wanted Delirious to take over but i know that if i let him it's going to be one hell of a day, so i decided against it..Delirious will have to wait a little longer.
"We're here!" Wildcat yelled as he stopped in front of a big grey building.
I was nervous for this and i don't even know why, it's like i was sucked back into my first mission where i screwed up badly and got shot on my leg.
It risked both my life and me being a part of the team, luckily Wildcat persuaded Evan on giving me another chance.
"Alright guys, places now!" And then the team scattered.
I was supposed to be pretending to withdraw something from the bank so they'll have a man inside, hopefully nothing bad will happen today.
I casually walked in the bank, with my mask on of course, don't want people to recognize me.
I walked over to the first counter then pressed my earpiece and whispered "i'm in. Initiate plan on your order, Vanoss"
There was a beautiful lady behind the counter, she looked at me with her green orbs and says "what can i do for you?" Somehow, i felt bad for this maiden, she's going to be one of the victims around here and for some reason, i didn't want her to die, maybe it's the fact that she reminded me so much of my older sister, i didn't want to watch her die again. So i spoke lowly
"I need you to get out of here as fast as you can. Don't ask why, just do it" she looked confused but when the bank doors busted opened and a grenade was thrown in by someone;probably Wildcat, i yelled at her
"Go now! While you still have the chance" everyone was screaming, but the girl behind the counter only nodded before fleeing. I watched her disappear from the sight then pulled out my gun.
"Everyone down! Down! NOW!!" Vanoss' voice boomed throughout the bank, cutting through the screams and whines of the civillians.
As Lui, Nogla and Craig waltz in, they hurriedly got to work, getting the money, hacking the vault, taking the gold, everything! These will surely last a month or two with us, just enough until Evan gets a lead on on where the Nightlock crew are.
"Alright, rendevous now everyone" Wildcat spoke into my earpiece to which i responded with one last shot from my gun pointed at the ceiling then ran as the civilians cowered in fear.
As i was nearing the exit, i noticed that Evan wasn't around.
Shit..where is he?
I pressed the button on my earpiece and spoke "Vanoss where are you?"
"Don't worry, i'm right behind Lui. Just keep on running" he replied
I sighed in relief before running like hell. In the far distance, i could hear police sirens and blue and red lights flashing across the buildings.
I could have swore that i saw the girl back in the bank running for her life as well but it's not in my concern right now.
I need to get to Wildcat.
"Alright only Delirious is missing..where are you?" I heard
" i'm almost there, just hit the pedal and book it, Wildcat, i'll grab unto the back of the car" and sure enough i saw the black Zentoro up ahead, i grabbed the handle by the back as Wildcat hit the pedal.
"We did it again boyz!!" Nogla screamed into his mic to which i chuckled. Victories like this is what always got me to smile, and knowing that all my friends are okay is very relieving for me.
I was still holding on to the back of the truck when i heard a faint static signal on my earpiece then Vanoss' voice spoke.
"You okay back there Delirious?"he asked
"Yep, still holding on like a monkey" i chuckled.
"Hey! That's not very nice" Lui squeeked in his childish voice as a laugh escaped from my lips.
I'm going to be home soon.
