"Vikki hurry uuup!" whined my best friend Rydel.

"I'm coming! I'm coming! Hold your horses!" I yell, grabbing my peace sign tank top and throwing it in my bag. Rydel and I were going to have a sleepover tonight and, like always, I waited to pack until the last minute. Tossing my phone charger into the front pocket, I ran downstairs and skid to a stop in front of my best friend, who in turn, rolled her eyes.

"Come on," she said, walking out the front door. I yelled syanara to my family and ran after her, down to the Lynch house. When we got there, I plopped my bag down in the hallways and flopped on the couch.

"Hey Vikk! Come over here and help me beat freaking Ross!" yelled Riker from he living room. Yes. This place is basically my second home. I love it.

Skipping into the living room, my eyes land on a red faced Riker and a laughing Ross.

"How the heck are you so good?!" asked Riker, throwing his remote down out of frustration. Ross shrugged.

"It's in my blood, man," he said, mimicking a hippy, causing me to roll my eyes. I sit by Riker and grab the controller, finishing off the game and, managing to tie with Ross. Standing up, Ross looked over at me.

"I hate you," he said before walking away, causing me to laugh. Riker smiled and winks at me, causing me to blush. He tries to slip his arm around my waist, but I push it away.

"Not here..." I whisper, giving him the look. River and I have been dating for a whole year now and it has been the happiest year of my life. But, we have been keeping it a secret ever since. Nobody knows but us. Riker wants to tell everyone. He wants to let everyone know that I was his, but I was scared of the hate, so he agreed to keep it a secret, but he was getting a bit antsy.

"Please vikki..." he whispered/begged. "At least just my family." I shook my head no.

"I'm not ready yet..." I whisper. He sighed and, after looking around the room quickly, and, seeing nobody here, pressed his lips softly to mine.

"I can't wait to tell everyone you are mine..." he mumbled against my lips. We were interrupted by Rydel, causing us to jump apart. Luckily she didn't see. Grabbing my hand, she dragged me away from Riker, who winked at me as we left.

The rest of the night was full of fun and awesomeness. We danced, gossiped, ate, gossiped more and did I mention we gossiped? Finally, we called it a night, falling asleep so Rydel could get ready for the show tomorrow.

The next morning, the house was crazy. (I have no idea how it is like on show day, but just bear ((wrong kind of bear)) with me okay?) I stuck with Rydel, helping her pick out her outfit and pack her stuff. Everyone climbed into the bus, heading to the concert venue.

When we arrived there, I helped carry stuff in, wheeling cases of instruments and boxes of stuff. I heard my name being called, so I sprinted to the voice to find Rydel, wanting me to help her get ready. Laughing, I came in, plugging in the curling wand. We talked as I curled pieces of her hair, pinning them up into a loose-looking bun on the top of her head, leaving a few pieces hanging down, framing her face. When I finished, I admired my work, pleased.

Mark came in, yelling that it was five minutes till "curtain". Ride and I made our way to the stage, seeing the rest of the band there. Riker jogged over to me.

"You're going to be watching from the side of the stage, right princess?" he asked. I nodded.

"Yeah, I always am. Why wouldn't I be?" I reply. He shrugged his shoulders before giving me a secret kiss on the cheek before jogging onto the stage, the hormonal screams beginning.

"What is up Jackson City!!!" he said, raising his arms in the air. (If any of you have ever seen Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, I imagined him saying it like Baby Brent when he walks into the fish shop at the beginning.... idk why... my brain is wired very weird..... Im gonna shut up now :P) They began the show and, to my delight, they played my favorite song off the album, Y/F/S first.

Half way through the show, Riker stepped up to the mic again.

"Okay guys, I would like to make an announcement. But, in order to do that, I need someone to come out here. Vick, please come here."

I walked out onto the stage, completely confused. There were a few cheers, but not that many, because nobody knew who I was. River took a deep breath before mouthing sorry to me.

"Guys, this is Vikki, my girlfriend." he said, causing loud, angry shouts to come from the audience. What did he do... I look at Riker, ready to cry as the angry shouts got louder. He promised me...

"SHUT UP!!!" yelled Rocky, causing the yelling to quiet down, but not die out completely.

"Thanks," said Riker, smiling at his brother. "And I wasn't done talking."

"Your going to break up with her, right?" yelled one girl from the audience. It felt like a knife had stabbed my heart. No, he can't be doing that...

"No way! I would never do that. I love her." I looked up, a bit of hope blossoming. "In fact," Riker continued. "I was going to ask her something else." Turning to me, Riker went down onto one knee and reached into his pocket, pulling out a small jewelry box.

My hands flew to my mouth. No. Way.

"Vikki, I am in no way a sappy guy, but you have made the past year of my life the best year I have ever had. And I would like to spend the rest of them with you. Will you do me the honor of letting me be your husband?" I felt tears build up in my eyes as Riker stood up. I flung myself into his arms as awwwwww's filled the room mixed with boo's.

But, honestly at this point, I didn't care. I had the person I loved with me, and I was going to be with him, forever. And always.

What The Band Thinks:

Ross: Vikki and Riker are perfect for each other. I honestly had no idea they were dating at all. They hid it very well. But, they are the perfect couple and like dude, he got a girlfriend before me. And I am more good looking!

Rydel: AAAAAAAAAHHHHHH! YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES!!!! I KNEW IT! I KNEW IT! I KNEW IT!

Rocky: I am so happy for them. I had no idea they were dating, but I can tell easily how much they love each other.

Ell: Wow, I didn't think Riker could get a girl... Just kidding. I am so happy for both of them. Vikki is an amazing girl and I can't wait to see how their lives will play out.
