As Bilbo left to answer the door, I began to eat. I heard chattering and looked up to see a dwarf in the kitchen, Bilbo had followed in behind. The dwarf bowed "Dwalin, at your service." he spoke, I bowed my head respectfully "A-Abigail O'Brien... at yours." Dwalin sat across from me, an Bilbo gave him his food. I gave Bilbo the rest of mine, and sat in silence as we watched the dwarf eat. "Very good this. Any more?" Dwalin asked, and Bilbo nodded, grabbing a plate of bread, stealing a few for himself before actually giving him the plate. There was a ring at the door and Bilbo scampered off to answer, a moment later a old, white-haired dwarf appeared, chuckling "Oh! Haha! Evening brother!" Dwalin chuckled and grinned "By my beard! You are shorter and whiter since the last time I saw you." The white-haired dwarf smiled, and responded with "Shorter, not whiter. And sharp enough for the both of us." they chuckled and smashed heads, before turning to me, and the unnamed dwarf bowed to me "Balin, at your service." I bowed my head again "A-Abigail O'Brien... at yours." Balin's eyes sparkled happily "By my beard! Abigail... is that really you? You've changed so much, I hardly recognized you!" I grinned "It's really me Balin!!" I stood and hugged the dwarf, Dwalin clued in, and we talked for a bit, before going into the pantry and grabbing ale, forgetting about poor, flustered Bilbo. The door gave another ring after a bit, and Bilbo went off to answer, then in barged two young dwarves, both bowing to me "Fili." The blonde one spoke "And Kili." the dark haired one replied "At your service." they spoke in unison and bowed. I curtsied "Abigail O'Brien, at yours." She smiled, remembering Fili and Kili, but knew that they would not know her, seeing as they were only babies when she had seen them last. Dwalin came I, grabbing us all, and the five of us began to try and see if we could find a way to fit everyone in. Suddenly there came yet another ring at the door! And not a mere minute later, the rest of the dwarf company, minus Thorin were inside Bilbo's home. Before the poor flustered Bilbo could even try to get control of the situation, we were grabbing food, mugs, dishes and chairs, setting up the table for the meal to be had, while we all worked, I chatted away with many of the dwarves, catching up with them and listening to them tell tales of how they have been and what they've done since the fall of Erebor. After the chatter ad finished, I stood in the hall with Dwalin, watching as Gandalf began counting all the dwarves there. "Fili.. Kili... Oin.. Gloin... Dwalin.. Balin... Bifur.. Bofur.. Bomfur... Dori.. Nori.. Ori... It appears that we are... one dwarf short..." I smiled a little, knowing Thorin was the thirteenth name. "He will come." I reassured Gandalf, Dwalin nodded "He is late is all. He traveled north to a meeting of our kin." Within minutes, all except for Bilbo, were gathered in the dining room, talking, laughing and eating. "Bomfur, catch!!" Bofur exclaimed as he tossed Bomfur an egg, and the large dwarf caught it in his mouth! We all laughed loudly and cheered, before tossing food to one another. I tossed bread and tomatoes to Ori and Bomfur, before Kili walked across the table, offering ale to anyone who wanted it. After everyone got ale, Kili sat down, ad exclaimed "Drink up!" We all clinked mugs before downing our ale, and a few began a burping contest, to which we all laughed and cheered. Once we had all finished eating, we began to clean up, tossing the plates to on another, and some of the dwarves began messing with the cutlery, much to Bilbo's dismay and terror filled cries. "Can you please not do that! You'll blunt them!!" Bilbo cried, and Bofur chuckled, "Oh~ Ya hear that lads? He says we'll blunt the knives~" the a song broke out, as Kili began it. "Blunt the knives, Bend the forks!" Fili sang the next verse "Smash the bottles, And burn the corks!" I snag the next line "Chip the glasses, And crack the plates!!" then we all san in unison "That's what Bilbo Baggins hates!-" I clapped along to the beat of the song as we continued to toss the plates and things "Cut the cloth, And tread on the fat! Leave the bones on the bedroom mat! Pour the milk on the pantry door! Splash the wine on every door! Dump the crocks in a boiling bowl; Pound them up with a thumping pole; And when you've finished, If any are whole. Send them down the hall to roll!" We laughed, and there was a moment without song, where Bofur played his flute and then we all shouted in unison "THAT'S WHAT BILBO BAGGINS HATES!" Bilbo then pushed his way through the dwarves as we all laughed, and a look of astonishment crossed his face as he saw the dishes were all clean, not broken. Suddenly there were three loud knocks on the door, and my heart leaped for joy, knowing it was Thorin at long last. "He is here!" I exclaimed, and the dwarves quickly cleared away the clean dishes as Bilbo, Gandalf and I went to answer the door. After a moment, Gandalf opened the door, to reveal none other that Thorin Oakenshield...
