The Summer I Fell In Love

Chapter 1

**********Skyler's POV*************

Two days until summer. Finally, I can leave here and spend my summer with my best friend, Trevor. We have been through a lot but little does he know I am madly in love with him.

I hope this summer I can finally tell him the truth and hope he feels the same way. We had planned to go to the beach about 5 hours from here. It would be me, Trevor, my best friend Tia, Kenzie, and Trevor's sister Maurice, and his best friends Hunter, Sean and Cameron. It was for sure going to be a fun summer filled with fun and maybe romance.

I walked into school with a great mood hoping my day would be good even though I have a final exam today so I can graduate. As soon as I walk in I see his beautiful face with his electric blue eyes. He saw me and walked over to see me.

"Hey, excited for your exam today?" He knew me so well. "No, far from it!!" He looked down at me and I saw his electric eyes look into me he looked sad as if something had happened. "Something wrong?" I asked him. "Umm no just anxious for the trip." I knew he was lying but I just let it go.

The thing about Trevor was he had a girlfriend but she was never there for him she was always bossy and way too controlling he deserved someone who would listen like me I am always there for him but I don't think he sees me the way I see him.

Speak of the devil here she comes now. I can see why Trevor picked her, she had blond hair that flowed past her shoulders, a white smile, but other than that there was nothing special about her she was just Aubree James.

"Hey honey." Aubree said. Trevor turned and looked very angry. "Why are you talking to me I thought we were done?" "Of course we are not. Why would you say that I love you." "No you don't leave I do t want to talk to you we are done!!" Aubree turned and as she walked away I think I heard her whimper.

Trevor turned to me "I'm sorry about that wanna go to class?" I was dumbfounded how could he just do that? "Umm sure. Are you okay?" "Yeah fine. Just tired of her drama I want this summer to be perfect."

Once I got out of my exam I met Trevor at my car. He saw me and said "hey beautiful" I got butterflies every time he said that to me. "Hey wanna grab something to eat?" "Sure" he said.

We drove to my favorite place to eat. We both ordered and we talked about the trip. "So are you excited to spend the whole summer with me?" Once he said it I could feel my cheeks burning because I really was excited! So I just replied with a simple "yes." Oh how badly I wanted to tell him the truth. It really was going to be a long summer.

Once we got done we headed home but he wanted to take a walk so I told him yes we got to the end of the path and he stopped me "I have to tell you something" Trevor said. "What?" "There's this girl that I think I'm in love with but I can't tell her. What should I do?" "Umm well do whatever your heart tells you to do." My answer was so stupid. I wonder who he's thinking about I hope I can tell him how I feel before its too late.

********Trevor's POV**************

I wanted to tell her so I asked her to go on a walk with me. She hesitated but finally gave in. We got to the end of the path and I said "there's this girl and I think I'm in love with her but I can't tell her what should I do?" She looked kind of hurt but instead she said "do whatever your heart tells you to do."

This broke my heart because I really wanted to tell her but I think I should just wait until summer. I mean its only 2 days away. So I decided to wait she was really quiet the whole ride home. When we pulled up to her house I asked her if she was alright she said yes but something didn't seem right.

I hope I didn't mess up things I mean how could she not see how madly in love I am with her? I guess I'll have to wait until Saturday to find out.
