Chapter 16: Where are you?

Hey, guys! so, you're probably wondering who's that girl in the bg. Well, she has a whole new story with a whole new problem. So! let's begin!

*Lyan's POV*
I was siting on the bar at the grill chewing gum, when suddenly my phone buzzed in my pocket. I got it out. It was Tyler

Things were great between us! we were bestfriends since that O help him out with some things and stuff but yeah.

"Hello?" I said softly through the phone.

"Hey, um. Listen, I don't want to scare you or something but-" he said causing me to get worried. I cut him off saying

"what, what is it?"

"Have you seen Kayden?" he asked the question I hate. god damn it where the hell is she?!

"No, not since the out of control thing... Why?" I get even more worried now.

there was the complete silence on the phone and I decided to cut it off saying.

"Tyler? what happened? and what did she freaking tell you to just leave her to wind up the streets like that!?" I started shouting in a whisper tone.

"I know, but it's not me. ugh anyway come over we're looking for her." he said causing me to hang up, throw the gum, get up grabbing my bag and run through the door.

I can hear them talking from out of the house. "Where's Damon?" Stefan asked.

"He went looking for her downtown" Tyler quickly responded.

"Alright I'm here!" I said coming in the living room throwing my bag across the room.

There was only Tyler, Caroline.... angry Caroline, Stefan, and finally Elena in the room.

(Damon, Bonnie, Matt, Alaric, and Jeremy was not there.) "Great!" Elena said walking towards me.

I looked at the rest of them ignoring Elena, I frowned in confusion.

"Where's the rest? and why is Caroline putting on her angry face?" I asked Elena looking back at her.

she sighed and then whispered to me "They broke up but just shhh, plus the rest are looking for Kayden." she said then Caroline looked at Elena confused.

"Umm, I'm right here, as a vampire I can hear things you know?" She said while I smiled at her going towards her.

"Now, Tell me what the hell happened and why are you looking for my bestfriend."

"This morning she woke up fantasying about the dream from yesterday. Then she just went down and when Damon asked her where she's going. She said she'll be with you... now she's lost" Stefan said mysteriously worried.

I took a deep breath in, and that's when it got all dizzy. Everyone was starting slowly to blur. and I only focused on one person. My dad.

Wait what?? my dad has been dead for 135 years. that can't be him. .... Cyles.

*Tyler's POV*

We all waited for Lyan's response on the whole Kayden thing when Stefan told her everything."Dad?" She started breathing heavily enough for me and everyone else to notice. I looked at Stefan confused and he was also frowning. "Lyan?" Elena said in a softly spoken tone.

Lyan placed her hand on the piano that was next to her. "Cyles, GET OUT OF MY HEAD!" Lyan said holding the sides of her forehead. I started to get worried.

Me and her got close over the last few days. She helped me out with things with Caroline. We became bestfriends in a very short amount of time.

"Lyan?" I said going to her. That's when she rolled her eyes and shut them to fall. But something happened before she fell on the ground. She hit her head smashing the piano, then fell in my arms. we all knew Cyles entered her mind. That dick! I wish I knew how he looks like and why is he doing all this.

"Oh my god Lyan!" Caroline said while everyone else and her rushed to me.

I carried her and placed her gently on the couch. "Must wonder what happened to her."  A weird voice came from behind us. We all looked confused at the short hair girl with a hat standing infront of us. "Oh who am I? I'm Christi. Cyles' sister."

we all stood there confused looking at her. "Oh my." Elena said scared moving backwards.

"You!" Stefan started. "No, I did not do that. That must be my brother. And don't worry I'm the good little sister." she said smiling at us.

Elena stopped moving. "What happened to her!?" I said pointing at the poor Lyan.

"Well, since I can see what my brother is doing to people. He pretended to give her vervain and smash her head to the piano. Don't worry love. She'll be up soon." She said looking at me in a weird way.

"See that's what we don't understand" Damon said coming in with the others, surprising us. "Why?" he continued.

Christi looked at him and said "He's probably just bored. Damon." she said.

what? how did she know his name?
"Wait, how did you-" I asked and she cut me off saying. "how did I know his name? he tried to compel me this morning, and that precious little thing failed." She said.

Oh. I didn't care about that. all I cared about was Lyan and Kayden. but mostly Lyan. She has been absolutely through a lot lately and I don't want anything to happen to her.

"Why are you here and what do you want?" Stefan finally asked. "Well, I am here to help you. Because you're gonna help me."

"And what makes you think we are gonna help you?" Bonnie asked.

"because I know where Kayden is."
