Finally escaping the prison they call school, Nick jumped onto the bus and sat in the seat right behind the bus driver. This way, he wouldn't be picked on or tripped when trying to get off the bus, plus he liked the bus driver. Mainly because Ms. Marge new how to put a delinquent kid in their place. The bus filled up with kids quickly and soon enough they were off. Ignoring the yelling from behind him, he took out his journal where he kept things too long or too secret to put on the poster, which would have to be recreated. A few minutes passed when he finally realized that someone was staring at him. He picked up his head and saw a girl in the pair of seats next to him. She had straight brown hair that covered some of her face and he guessed hazel eyes. Her face was completely blank.
"..Hello?" Nick decided to speak.
"...Hey." The girl answered.
Awkwardly Nick replied "...Hey."
The girl let out a small giggle.
"I'm Addison."
((A/U: Insert Evil Laugh Here.))
Nick hesitated before giving his own introduction. "I'm Nick."
"Like, Nicholas?"
"...sure."
"Nice name." Addison grinned then glanced at the journal. "Whatcha writing?"
Nick gulped.
Should he lie?
Should he tell the truth?
Before he could say anything the bus came to a halt to where he's supposed to get off.
"Is this your stop?"
"Uh-Yeah-Uh-BYE."
Embarrassed by his words he quickly got off the bus and started speed-walking home, not looking back.
