First Case

Amy's POV

"Hey Amy, this my my car" Jake said opening the door for me.

It was old and junky. It looked like it was from the 80's.

We arrived at the warehouse and heard gun shots.

I grabbed the radio and said " This is Amy Santiago we need back up!"

Jake and I got out of the car and slowly approached the door.

"Stand behind me, I don't want you getting shot" he said.

I'm not sure why but I thought that was sweet.

"Hey, do you hear that" a drug dealer said.

"Quick! Hide the body!" A different voice said.

" NYPD FREEZE!" Yells Jake.

They started to run, but then Rosa and Terry came in the other door and got them.

I know I didn't really do anything but I'll never forget my first case as a detective.

Jakes POV

On Amy first day, after the warehouse. I drove her back to the precinct. In the time we had in the car I felt I've know her forever. But that doesn't matter, what matters is that Ames and I are just friends. Best friends. But except what happened after the bar.

We did some paper work and I showed her the system. Then we went to the bar after.

When we got there we ordered our drinks and talked some more. She told me about her ex fiancé. She also said that if she  has different stages of drinking.

She was already 6 drink Amy and I only had 1 beer so I decided to take her home. When we arrived to her place she asked me to come in.

I came in a told her I need to leave.

" No Jake please stay" she said.

" OK fine" I say. I couldn't leave her.

" Jake, " she said.

" Yes" I say

" Your are very very handsome" she said stroking my cheek.

"Thanks"

"Well," she said.

"What,"I said confused.

"Aren't you gonna kiss me?" She slurred.

" Amy I have to go" I say.

Then she grab my face. And it was amazing. I felt a spark even though she was drunk. I felt something.

"Jake, please don't leave me" she winked.

"Oh no Amy I have to leave."

So I quickly got out. The next day I was going to ask her out but she didn't remember anything.
